Volvér means ‘to return,’ and the restaurant is a ‘return’ for Chef Jose Garces, one of the country’s leading chefs and restaurateurs. Chef Garces brings his more than 15 years of global culinary exploration to Volvér, ‘returning’ fondly to some of his favorite meals and re-imagining them with his signature flair.

The ever-evolving menus highlight seasonal ingredients prepared with modern techniques that capture and amplify their inherent flavors, all inspired by Chef Garces’ travels around the world. Regional specialties, including locally raised meat, poultry and seafood, and produce from Chef Garces’ own Luna Farm in nearby Bucks County, feature prominently on the inventive menu.

Bar Volvér is a comfortable setting for artful cocktails, wines and beers, complemented by Chef Garces’ exciting menu of globally influenced small plates including tartares, tartines, cheeses and charcuterie. All dishes are available a la carte. Reservations are not required.

"There was very little, if anything, to fault. The staff were very knowledgable and pleasant. The food got progressively better and the complimenting wines from the tasting menu were spot on."

Little Nonna’s is an Italian-American eatery in Center City’s bustling Midtown Village. Inspired by the “red sauce” family-owned ristorantes of Italian immigrants, Chef Turney offers thoughtful interpretations of homestyle Italian-American dishes with an all-Italian wine list and handcrafted cocktails. The cozy 40-seat restaurant is evocative of an Italian grandmother’s living room, circa 1950, featuring vintage lace in the windows, hanging antique copper pots and an outdoor garden that seats an additional 40 guests.

"Unfortunately, we were not impressed and doubt we would return. There are too many good restaurants in Philadelphia to return to average."

mkt. - pronounced "market" - is an intimate restaurant in an intimate Seattle neighborhood know as Tangletown, between Wallingford and Greenlake. It gets its name from Meridian, the traditional name for the neighborhood; the historic Keystone Building that it’s housed in; and Tangletown, as the area is now known. Joe Ritchie"s kitchen serves thoughtful, contemporary American fare with a dedication to Northwest products.

Sitka & Spruce, located in Capitol Hill"s Melrose Market, is a restaurant centered around the unparalleled bounty of the Pacific Northwest. We work very closely with our community of farmers, foragers, fishermen, and purveyors to procure the best possible ingredients of our region. Our menu changes daily, and we do our best to showcase the beauty of our region's beautiful food ingredients.

Join us for lunch or dinner on weekdays, and for brunch and dinner on weekends.
