"Highly recommended, close to the hotel, but dark inside. Even using a phone app flashlight to light up the menu didn't help. Drinks were great, apps were interesting, entrees were well prepared...but it was way too dark. Perhaps, it was just our seating, but I' d be hard pressed to return..."

Shula's 347 is named in honor of Hall of Fame Coach, Don Shula. The winningest Coach in NFL history, with 347 career victories! Shula's 347 follows a long line of successful restaurants, all founded on the same famous tradition of Shula's Steak Houses. Shula's 347 has everything from gourmet salads to fresh specialty fish and exclusively serves Premium Black Angus Beef burgers and the best beef money can buy, The SHULA CUT steaks. The atmosphere is casual and full of energy, which includes a high impact bar, dark woods and a stunning video system. High-end flat panel screened TVs, dark woods and frames with spotlights, pigskin walls, granite topped tables and dark leather booths offer a different appeal and destination for the local market. The bar becomes a socializing hot spot with wine and martinis for business types, groups or individuals looking for a warm atmosphere or a place to be seen.

"Usually I shy away from chain restsurants in hotels, but this is a memorable exception. Friendly server, outstanding service, great drinks, interesting apps and perfectly prepared food.
I will return and will not only recommend it, but will look for other Shula's in my travels.

"Made reservations for lunch, seated and greeted by the most efficient server. Limited, but tasty beer menu and paired well with the dining menu! Delicious offerings. The place really filled up! Wish them continued success and see you next time we are in town."

"It was a disappointment. Nothing wrong with the service nor the meal at all. It was the Maverick dominated push that was a turn off. It gave the feeling that one was dining in an upscale "chain". Can say, I've eaten there and that's about all. Go back to small is better!"

Occupying adjacent spaces on Queen Street, Husk’s structures date back to the late 1800s. The main dining room, constructed in 1893, evokes the grandeur of Charleston, and speaks to the transformation of the city over time. Victorian details and turned columns were layered over the original Queen Anne-style façade through the years, and the buildings fell into disrepair until discovered by Husk ownership. The Neighborhood Dining Group President David Howard set into a motion an extensive remodeling effort of both. Although both buildings retain their antique charm and stately character, the renovations imbued each with a modern, minimalist theme. Like the reinterpreted food served within, each space has been laid bare, revealing reclaimed floors, original windows, and exposed brick throughout. The main house features an open kitchen with a wood-burning oven and dining room.

"Everything was perfect. The location of our table, the server, the drinks and wines, the bread and butter service, the apps and the main course. Not forgetting the dessert! This was the last meal of our Southern adventure and certainly set the bar high for our next trip. Husk lives up to the hype and exceeds your expectations."

"Service was attentive, drinks and wines were god, food was well prepared and my duck was the best ever. But even the corner table was cold. Especially when friends met at the door and held it open.
But, we will be back.
