AlandB's Reviews

An original pioneer of the casual upscale dining scene on the Upper West Side since 2003, featuring contemporary farm-to-table Italian-American cuisine that explodes with flavor and freshness. Housemade pastas, poultry, steaks, seafood, wood-burning oven, artisanal cocktails and an Award Winning wine-list, all complementing this warm rustic environment.
"...all the energy was in the bar. The dining area felt old and stale. Food was just ok, not outstanding."

Peche Seafood Grill. In French, "pêché" means "catch." Inspired by trips to Spain and Uruguay, Peche will focus on seafood cooked over an open wood fire. Diners can watch as the seafood, along with meats and vegetables, cooks over the flames. The dishes, though, will still be rooted in Louisiana. The restaurant is a partnership between chefs Donald Link (Herbsaint, Cochon), Stephen Stryjewski (Cochon) and Ryan Prewitt, although Prewitt will have primary authority over the new kitchen.
Housed in a restored 19th-century building, Peche will share the modern aesthetic of Cochon. According to the Link Restaurant Group, the restaurant will have "high, pickled-wood ceilings; large, soaring windows; a thick-topped Cypress bar; and a marble top oyster bar."

Please visit our website for more information including menus, reviews and photos, or stop at our bar to smell the roses.
Jackets are required.
For lunches only, if the room upstairs is available, we may accommodate gentlemen who prefer not to wear jackets at lunch upstairs.
Electronic Devices, Cell phone, Blackberry, Laptop Computers... and misbehaving children are not allowed to annoy our guests. We recommend the care of a loving babysitter for the latter, and as for the use of electronic devices, we recommend another restaurant.
