Del Frisco’s Grille dishes up creative twists on American comfort classics. Modern, inviting, stylish and fun, Del Frisco"s Grille takes the classic bar and grill to new heights, drawing inspiration from bold flavors and market-fresh ingredients. The energetic bar, a destination in itself, creates a buzz throughout the restaurant and sets the stage for an amazing night out. Del Frisco's Grille uses local ingredients alongside new classics that are easy to share with friends: Wood Oven-Baked Flatbreads, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, and Ahi Tacos. The menu also includes a selection of prime steaks, hearty salads, formidable sandwiches and chef-inspired entrees. Del Frisco’s Grille Fort Worth is the 9th location to open with other restaurants located in Manhattan, Washington DC, Santa Monica, Palm Beach, Dallas, Phoenix, Atlanta and Houston.

"I have dined at DFG many times for girlfriend lunches & couples dinner but this was the first time for a business lunch. The noise level at lunch is substantially less than in the evenings as the bar is not active. We were able to spread our paperwork out in a booth upstairs & work while we ate. The steak salad was filling enough for lunch. My lunch partner had a small steak with frites & side salad which he wishes came with rolls or simple bread but was told only pretzel bread was available. Many ice tea refills later we had accomplished our goal & left full & satisfied."

Located just a few minutes from downtown in architecturally rich Monte Vista, La Fonda on Main is the oldest Mexican food restaurant in San Antonio. La Fonda serves both the best of Tex-Mex cuisine as well as authentic dishes of interior Mexico in a fun and casual setting with beautiful patio dining. Open daily serving lunch and dinner as well as a memorable Sunday brunch menu, we offer a full bar with a wide variety of liquor, beer and wine. Our famous margaritas are made with hand-squeezed limes and your choice of a large selection of tequilas.

"A friend recommended that any visit to San Antonio include a meal at La Fonda because it its where the locals go for their Tex-Mex. Requests made through Open Table were accommodated; round table as we were a party of 6, not in the center of the noisy part of the restaurant so we could easily visit & 3 separate bills. The server was a little pushy with wanting our drink orders as soon as we were seated before we had even seen the menu (maybe locals already know the drink menu) or were served ice water & tortilla chips/salsa & also disappeared for extended periods during our meal. The food was good, served hot, big portions. Would enjoy sitting on the lovely patio on another visit."

Sophistication without pretension-that's the beauty of Reata. From the moment you pass through our doors, the unmistakable ambience of Reata envelops you. Hosts and servers welcome you as if you were an old friend, inviting you to savor every moment-and every bite of your meal. And all around you, tempting aromas swirl, while wrought iron accents, rustic paintings, and cowboy accouterments gently remind you that there's a taste of the West in every gourmet creation we serve.

"Yes, the restaurant famous for steaks is a great brunch destination too. My husband somehow managed to eat the entire HUGE cream cheese stuffed french toast with banana & pecan topping, which was almost like blintzes. I had the rancher's special with scrambled eggs & a manageable 4 oz. chicken fried steak (you can also order from the regular lunch or dinner menu). $3 bloody Marys & mimosa's topped it all off. We specifically tried Reata for Sunday brunch to hear Kyle Redd play & were very pleasantly surprised to have enjoyed a great brunch too as we have been many times for dinner or drinks on the rooftop bar."

"I have lunched at Bites 3 times in 4 weeks & obviously enjoyed it so convinced the husband & friends to try it for dinner. The Small Bites are the same as offered at lunch. This time tried the fried calamari which was OK but not anything special. Enjoyed the charred octopus much better than the calamari. Split two different flatbreads; the prime rib with mushrooms & the classic margarita pizza & agreed the classic margarita was the best with very fresh basil & tomatoes. We even split a Big Bites scallops with risotto & wished we all ordered it individually. The wine list offers many well known & affordable selections."

"We have dined here about 6 times & each time has been exceptional! This time we wanted to show off the view of Sundance Plaza to visitors from Frisco. The view of the Plaza with it's changing light umbrellas & fountains was entertaining. The food was a big hit; shrimp & grits, sole (a little bland), blackened salmon special & mushroom shortbread. Don't skip dessert; the white chocolate coconut cake is enough to share even between 4 people."

"This was our 2nd time for dinner so tried different foods; "moth balls", bacon on a stick, mussels, steak & frittes. The frittes were soggy but everything else was delicious & good size portions at reasonable prices. Eclectic wine list. Suggest you venture over to the bar to see wine specials of the day as bartenders are very knowledgeable."

Casa Rubia at Trinity Groves is the new modern tapas restaurant from Chef Omar Flores and Jonn Baudoin. Chef Omar's menu will spotlight seasonal ingredients taking classics, putting a spin on them and making them with his flair. Catalonia is a favorite area in Spain for Chef Omar so the menu utilizes a lot of seafood. Paellas is a signature dish at Casa Rubia which changes daily. A full Spanish wine list, nice selection of sherries and Spanish / South American beers compliment the tapas menu.

"This Tapas restaurant in the Trinity Grover development was a unique & memorable experience! Our server Jake helped us with recommendations on the menu; crispy artichokes & Nantucket Bay scallops. The scallops were so good that we requested bread to soak up all the delicious sauce. I almost ordered a second serving. I appreciated Jake's soft sell on wine upgrade to the La Granja, pointing out that if we would just spend $10 more we could have the best Tempranillo on the menu. All wines are Spanish so we appreciated his suggestion & it was a great compliment to our food. The calatrava dessert, flan & apple topped with caramel, was simply superb! The Tapas portions are small & it's expensive but well worth it for a special treat."
