"nice menu & well-prepared food in bland setting. server hovered annoyingly the entire meal: LEAVE US ALONE! we'll signal if we need something. restaurant was 1/2 empty yet we were stuck on back wall when plenty of window seats with views were available. Ritz usually gets service right; not this time..."

Tom Colicchio’s Craft was awarded three stars by the New York Times and won the prestigious James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant. In 2010, Tom Colicchio won the James Beard Award for Best Chef. Craft is recognized for its commitment to the use of the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from family farms, dayboat fishermen and specialized ranchers. We prepare these pristine ingredients simply in order to showcase the essence of each ingredient. At Craft, Chef de Cuisine Ed Crochet, Pastry Chef Abby Swain and the hospitable staff ask diners to build their own a la carte menu or choose from the seasonal seven-course tasting menu.

As one of the best kept secrets in New York City, Gigino at Wagner Park offers a spectacular view of Lady Liberty and the New York Harbor. Owners Bob Giraldi and Phil Suarez along with executive chef Luigi Celentano, have taken great pride in bringing Italian cuisine to Battery Park City for over five years. Nestled between the Ritz Carlton and the Statue of Liberty, Gigino can be found just a few steps south of The Jewish Heritage Museum. Open year round, Gigino at Wagner Park is a great place for a romantic evening or family get together.

"surprisingly good seafood for a waterfront restaurant. typically unhealthy Southern breads & sauces (but very tasty...), but simple grilled fish were fresh & nicely done, as were rice & steamed veggies. not bad at all. server very friendly and views of marsh were spectacular"

"Plusses: food was fresh, server was attentive and there wasn't anything bad about the food prep or menu
Minuses: bland food, server was overly smarmy and kept touching our backs (weird...) and oddly impersonal decor
Absoutely nothing earthshakingly wrong with this place, but little to recommend it strongly. Good news for them is we were tourists so it's not like they lost potential regulars. Just disappointing to come to Texas for Tex-Mex and get bland food we could have eaten in New England."

Gordon and Fiona Hamersley have owned one of Boston's most popular restaurants for 20 years. Hamersley's Bistro serves contemporary, full-flavored French/Mediterranean food in a relaxed environment. Located in the fashionable South End, Hamersley's is adjacent to the Boston Center for the Arts and its' affiliated theaters and galleries. The historic brick building, which originally housed a piano factory, has been transformed into one of Boston's most comfortable dining atmospheres. The dining room has butter yellow walls, exposed beams and a view of the open kitchen so diners can watch the chefs work in their brightly colored baseball caps. There is also a cozy bar, where neighborhood regulars gather for food and drinks, as well as a large patio for casual summer dining.

Meritage turns on its head the normal routine of pairing wine with food. Instead of starting with a plate and asking: "What wine will pair?", we start with an exciting wine and ask: "What food will pair?" We think you will agree that this is the path to culinary enlightenment.

Led by Chef Daniel Bruce – founder and captain of the Boston Wine Festival - and Manager and Wine Director Nicholas Daddona, Meritage offers a diverse menu of wine-friendly food that showcases New England’s changing seasons.
