Located in Chicago’s exciting theatre district, in the city’s “Loop” area, Petterino’s offers prime steaks, fresh seafood and classic specialties. Featuring a 1940’s style look, with original drawings of actors who have performed in Chicago, Petterino’s celebrates the Golden Age of Glamour and the Theatre while offering delicious cuisine with a full menu of favorites from tomato bisque soup to a shrimp de jonghe to fettuccine alberto.

Pre-theatre and after work specials are available daily. Petterino's location is ideal for business lunches as well as a break from shopping or touring in the nearby State Street and Millennium Park venues. Pre-theatre diners have the option of leaving their car with Petterino's while they attend the show and can then pick it up after the performance is completed.

"Lovely atmosphere -- Sardi's-style theater district spot with celebrity sketches lining the walls - attached to the Goodman Theatre lobby. Good for before or after the theater. Comfort food menu, nothing adventurous, but good value. Bar gets crowded after work on week days. Dining room largely empties out at 7:30 when the curtain goes up at the Goodman."

"This was a pricey steak house, but worth it. They take meat very seriously. Service was efficient and helpful. Good choice of wines. Our table in the second floor dining room had a lovely view of the old Medina Temple building (now Bloomingdales). They offered a three course menu option (salad, small filet, dessert) that seemed very reasonable at about $45.00. We would go back. Upstairs and downstairs bars seemed lively and inviting."

Located in Chicago's famous "Gold Coast," McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks on Chestnut / Rush Street is close to shopping, hotels, bars, the famous Chicago Water Tower and the Magnificent Mile. It is the ideal location to spend an evening out on the town of Chicago.

"Our party of four had a disappointing experience. Food was really quite good, but service was erratic (at times annoying). Tables were too close together. (There were some cozy-looking booths, but we weren't lucky enough to get one of those.) Our table quickly became awkwardly crowded with over-sized menus and tableware that was not efficiently removed when no longer needed. Overall effect was touristy and disorganized. Because of the food (seafood was fresh and tastily prepared), I would probably give it one more try, but not on a Saturday night."
