Some of the seating at Carriage House is non-traditional. Every seat, however, allows a unique perspective of the Carriage House experience. If you have any concerns regarding your table, or to check additional availability, please give us call.

From its origins as a tack room to its contemporary incarnation as a hospitable retreat, the Lowcountry Carriage House has evolved from its rustic roots to offer genteel repose-much like Southern culinary culture itself. Our modern carriage house beckons with both intriguing history and fresh inspiration, enfolding visitors in a simpler way of life where a small plate of shrimp and a nip of bourbon are the evening’s star attractions.

"The food and atmosphere are great. Parking can be tricky and expect a wait. I had a reservation for 2 people at 12 on a Sunday and we weren't sat until 12:45. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. If they can't they honor reservations, simply don't take them.
The food was great however they ran out of Shrimp and grits right before we ordered which was fusturating because if we were sat on time I could have enjoyed them.
Overall the food was good and service attentive without being intrusive.

"Just before we put in an offer to buy a home we wanted to explore the neighborhood a bit and we stumbled across this little gem. The food is great but be warned the portions are HUGE!! My boyfriend and I both had a house salad, shared some clams and each got a half order of pasta. The half order could have fed 2 people! Great wine list as well. We will definitely be regulars if we get the house."

At Black Bull, we believe that ingredients have always been the stars behind Spain’s culinary triumphs. Chef Marcos Campos explores the exquisite products and flavors found throughout Spain with a variety of dishes that represent the essential pleasures of his country’s traditions and others that provoke and surprise with new textures and techniques. His menu takes guests on a culinary tour with a variety of embutidos y quesos, conservas, pintxos, tapas, arroces and platos.

"I met my friend who is a certified foodie who lives in NYC and we both loved it. She said it was the best food she had on her trip so far. Service was awesome and the bartender (blond girl) was great!"
