Little Nonna’s is an Italian-American eatery in Center City’s bustling Midtown Village. Inspired by the “red sauce” family-owned ristorantes of Italian immigrants, Chef Turney offers thoughtful interpretations of homestyle Italian-American dishes with an all-Italian wine list and handcrafted cocktails. The cozy 40-seat restaurant is evocative of an Italian grandmother’s living room, circa 1950, featuring vintage lace in the windows, hanging antique copper pots and an outdoor garden that seats an additional 40 guests.

Serving soulful Greek food carefully blended with a West Village vibe, Snack Taverna is a warm and welcoming space that features high tin ceilings, exposed brick walls and oversized windows. Since opening in 2003, Honest, good food and friendly, professional service have defined the “ethos” of our restaurant.

Our kitchen serves up a bold flavored mix of traditional, home-style and modern interpretative Greek cooking throughout the day.

The beverage program consists of hard to find artisanal Greek wines as well as a list of seasonally inspired cocktails .
Snack Taverna seats up to 45 guests comfortably and 4 at the bar.

We welcome private events and off-site catering.

"We've been to Snack Taverna several times and it is consistently great Greek food in a charming West Village bistro setting. I dream about the butter beans with feta and this visit I had the stuffed pepper entree which was just delicious! Best stuffed pepper I've ever had. Meat and fish dishes are usually just as pleasing. Eat here!"

"Great location for mediocre pre-theater dining. Overcooked salmon, undercooked (!) grilled vegetable plate. Grilled calamari plate was cooked well but small portion served with just a small salad. Pastas seemed fine but nothing special. Meh. Won't be back."
