Taboon means "oven" in Arabic. Considered the heart of our restaurant, the wood fired Taboon oven delivers freshly prepared specialties that are exotic, healthful and full of flavor. Our trademark "Middle Terranean" cuisine blends the traditions of the Mediterranean with Middle Eastern cuisine using French techniques to create dishes that are uniquely delicious. Visit us at 773 10th Avenue, at the corner of 52nd Street, just steps away from the Theater District to find out what everyone's talking about. And ask us about our brand new PRE-THEATRE PRIX FIXE MENU! Reserve a table with us between 5pm and 6:30pm Monday through Friday and enjoy 3 courses accompanied by our famous fresh-baked-to-order foccacia for only $35 per person!

"I've been to taboon several times now and the food is always fresh and delicious without being pretentious. The environment is casual/elegant and the music is not blaring loudly so one can actually have a conversation (not so common in NYC restaurants as of late) Everyone in my party loved it. We will definitely return."

Valanni restaurant opened its doors in September of 2000, introducing "Medi-Latin" cuisine to Philadelphia. Situated right off of the "Avenue of the Arts," Valanni has become a pre-theater ritual and place to meet for a night-cap for many who live in and around the neighborhood. The bar at Valanni keeps up with the creative food served by offering an assortment of sangria, mojitos and other specialty drinks. The kitchen is open until 1 AM daily serving Tapas and a Mediterranean inspired lounge menu. <br />

"Tapas is always fun and Valanni made it fun a delicious. The loud music was a bit much for my friend and me (we're in our mid 40's) but I'm sure it's appreciated by folks who are younger and/or more there to party. The bridal party across the way from us seemed to be having a great time. Loved the polenta with pesto, brussel sprouts, and grilled caesar salad, not to mention the tasty (if a bit sweet) cocktails."

Breeze is all about blending the unexpected to create something new and exciting. The chef has exquisitely combined the zest of..."Thai food with decadence of French Cuisine" to bring you tantalizing new dishes. From appetizers to desserts, there two unique cultures come together to offer you a new and exciting dining experience.

"Nothing special, especially given that there are at least 4 other Thai places within one block."
