"It was a 6pm dinner date on a Saturday evening. The place wasn't very busy when I entered. By 7pm when we left the place was bustling.
Food was good though portions were small. The dining area is very open so no intimate table dinner conversation is possible, but good enough for a first date. If you want intimate there is a lounge are to the right of the bar as you walk inside.
Probably return again."

"Arrived early, so I hung at the bar waiting on my friend. Bartender was very friendly as were the other few patrons. Nice warm atmosphere for a hotel bar.
Sat for dinner when my friend arrived. She had the sea bass, I had the rack of lamb. Both were terrific. Our waiter was friendly & helpful.
Definitely will return."

"Seven of us got together for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We needed to talk some business. We were able to get a table fairly secluded. The waiter did a great job taking care of us. Great food and drink!"

"Our first visit took place on a busy Christmas Eve. The place was bustling & loud. No chance for a quiet conversation, but it was also 4pm. The grilled oysters were very tasty but too few for the price. The four of us had fairly sophisticated meals that all tasted great.
The service was outstanding. It was very busy, and Xmas Eve. Our waiter didn't miss a beat.
The decor is old, grand , and beautiful to view. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. A great time."
