New American restaurant and bar that is inspired by the agricultural and coastal traditions and bounty of Virginia. The new Lemaire will deliver the quality and service The Jefferson Hotel is known for, but in an accessible format without the pretense, formality or expense!

"Just go with the chefs recommendations and let yourself be pampered. There's nothing to do except enjoy the atmosphere and food ! The well-priced "discoveries" section of the extensive wine list is a bonus."

"This restaurant never disappoints but is it impossible to find people who know anything about food or service? A bit of staff training everywhere from the welcome desk to the meal delivery would be a welcome improvement. That said, the brunch is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, the price is fair, and I would return."

Per Diem’s menu is centered on the use of fresh ingredients and inventive flavor combinations paired with classic cooking techniques. Starters such as the Burrata on a Grilled Crostone with Marshall’s Farm Honey and Toasted Nuts or a San Francisco original, Cioppino with Mussels, Scallops, Prawns, Crab and Calamari make for a quick, light bite. Enjoy one of many delectable sandwiches such as the Oyster Po Boy with Cornmeal Fried Local Oysters, Baby Romaine, Pickled Veggies and Remoulade on a Soudough Roll or the Ham and Brie with Dressed Organic Greens on a Sourough with a Persimmon Chutney. Try Per Diem’s mouthwatering Pizzettas: Margherita with Burratta, Cherry Tomatoes and Fresh Basil. Entrée dishes such as the Truffle and Tomato Brisket with Bloomsdale Spinach and House Made Ricotta Lasagnettas and the Confit Maple Farms Duck Leg over Blue Cheese Tortellini with a Pomegranate Fume offer patrons a well-portioned evening meal.

Brought to you by Award Winning Chef Michael Chiarello and located at Pier 5 on the the bustling San Francisco Waterfront, Coqueta is inspired by the cuisines of Spain. Chef Chiarello feels that Spain"s signature ‘small plates’ coupled with the social vibrancy of their dining scene is the perfect combination for San Francisco, which has its own deep-rooted history with the country. Focusing on regional dishes from Madrid, Catalonia, the Basque Country and beyond, the menu will feature Chiarello's interpretation of traditional Spanish cuisine and, as has always been his tradition, will highlight the bounty of fresh, local ingredients from land and sea.

"Men will leave here on the hungry side unless they're willing to drop a few hundred dollars but women will love the ambience and small plates! (That might sound sexist, but is based on husband response and eavesdropping on a few others in and leaving the place). Wash Post reviewer called it the best meal he had in 2013 - can't understand that rave review, but it's good enough for a tourist on weekend in SF."
