"I really like the food here, although nothing fancy, no celebrity chefs here, the food is really good and the portions very generous....I just finished my leftovers.....I have a suggestion for the restaurant: bring back your classic bread. Those dinner rolls and the toasted garlic bread although good are nothing like they were before. I love the fact that they bring you a salad as soon as you sit down so you can calmly make a decision on what to order for dinner. The choices are plentiful. I tried the veal shanks and they were like nothing I expected and very delicious. I put a note on my reservation that it was my mom's birthday but I guess nobody read it. I will go back though because I really enjoy the food but will not expect for the service to go above and beyond."

The Frog and The Peach, located in downtown New Brunswick, NJ is one of the Garden State’s premier dining venues, recently named NJ’s best “All Around” restaurant for “its impressive New American cuisine” and rated fourth most popular restaurant in the state by Zagat Survey. Whether seated in one of the warm and inviting alcoves of this stylish, swank restaurant set on two levels, in the newly renovated outdoor Garden, or in the inviting bar area, diners will enjoy Chef/Proprietor Bruce Lefebvre’s modern American menu with a seductive international spin. Try signature selections like the Tuna Sashimi with cucumber salad and lemongrass broth, Black Truffle Gnocchi with almond basil pesto or Tea Cured Duck Breast with a jasmine rice cake, pea greens, shiitake mushrooms and smoked duck jus. The award winning wine list offers 400 selections carefully chosen by wine director Jim Mullen.

"I went there for a very special occasion with my now fiancé....I guess I just gave it away.....oops.
The food was really good, although I remember the portions being more generous.
My server was on point, she got my order right, the timing of the courses were perfect. I think she read us well. We are very friendly people, but we appreciate when our server respects our privacy without being inattentive and not only our server but the whole staff that had something to do at our table delivered. Our server suggested a wonderful bottle of wine, of which we kept the cork (it is our tradition). This is a place were you can expect nothing but great service. I had the grilled lamb neck and and my fiancé had the shrimp and they were delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was ok, I will try their chocolate dessert next time.

"I went there recommended by a friend because I was looking for a nice place for a special event. I was not aware that they had brunch, until the hostess informed me about it to let me know that I was coming very close to a time where they close to switch from lunch(brunch) to dinner. So far, so good, but: why do you even have a time slot available for when the restaurant is about to close without any notes? why not having notes that only brunch is served during that time?
Anyway, my group and I arrived and as I was walking to the table a server bumped into me with no apologies. We found out that our table was not ready halfway to it. There was a large group with screaming kids sitting on empty tables. I was already disappointed.
As I was walking to the buffet table, the same server that bumped into me earlier, almost bumps into me again....you guessed right: no apologies.
I ate my food, paid my bill, got out as soon as could. The food is mediocre at best, overpriced for what it is, the service was subpar and inattentive. I was not worth my 45+ min ride nor whatever it is that they charge for the brunch.
One more thing, the view that you get is much better closer to Jersey City compared to the one you get from here.
