Riptide by the Bay is the result of atmosphere and culinary experience, utilizing local Chesapeake seafood that combines West Coast flavors and Baltimore’s Traditional Roots. More than a seafood restaurant and crabhouse, Riptide houses innovation and entertainment while overlooking the beautiful waterfront in Historic Fells Point. Riptide is alive with a flavor and acclaim that has consistently made us one of the best restaurants in Charm City! Fresh. Colorful. Fun. Riptide by the Bay is where the locals lounge.

"Very nice water views and the hostess and waitress were pleasant and the service fine. The restaurant's version of oysters Rockefeller were just alright and only 4 to the plate. Steamed clams were streamed to much but perhaps a dozen in the bowl. Breads were not very tasty and another set was asked for which were plain but good. Double lobster tails were well prepared as were the accompanying vegetables. Wine list was fine. The menu offered Chilean sea bass but the filet was thin, salmon and the ever present rockfish filet, a seafood soup and that was about it for sea food. Not bad, not great. Once again a water view restaurant with average food."
