"The food was very good and like the location on Washington. The noise level was reasonable compared to Washington location which can be very noisy because of the music played by restaurant. The wine by the glass was good but the pour size seemed very small for a 14 glass of red wine. The wine bottles seem to have quite a mark-up from the retail price making enjoying wine there harder to do. The layout is nice and it is good to see the kitchen further back compared to the Washington location. The next time I go MAX’s, it will be this location."

Lunch, Brunch or Dinner! C&C has it covered.

Cook & Collins is a serious neighborhood eatery featuring a menu of “Fun American Fare” set in “Modern Classic” design. Think blonde woods, plush velvet banquets, subway tiles and a wall of mirrors in an assortment of whimsical frames. The dining room, terrace and patio are the perfect settings for a night on the town, a leisurely lunch or a fun brunch. Chef Jared Estes has a fresh, local and ever so trendy approach to American Comfort Food, skillfully prepared by executive chef Josh Shobe and his expertly trained culinary staff in a scratch kitchen. All of this paired with a full bar, classically edited wine list, local Craft Beers on draft, bottled beers, espresso and coffee beverages, as well as hand-made cocktails, all served by an attentive and knowledgeable wait staff. At Cook & Collins we live by a simple phrase: “Make it Great.”

"Everything that my wife and I ordered for dinner was very tasty also interesting and not just like every other place. The portion sizes were also good and the place a clean and modern look. The beer list wasn't too exiting but there were a few interesting beers but there are better wine choices and a full bar with interesting cocktails to try. We plan to return soon, maybe to try their brunch which looks interesting."
