The beloved neighborhood gem Radius, has been transformed by its team into El Capitan, a vibrant Latin-Caribbean inspired bar & restaurant along Soma's popular Folsom corridor. <br /><br />The perfect ambience for a date or happy hour, the space is also large enough to host a team dinner or birthday dinner in the separate 35 seat Captain's Room that overlooks the outdoor patio & beer garden.<br /><br />El Capitan's menu of fresh ingredients and bold flavors are highlighted by its large selection of ceviche, fry bread tacos & assorted small plates such as grilled octopus, plantain fritters and beef short ribs. Beverage include 10 taps of craft beer, carafes of sangria and and thoughtful well-priced wine list with a full bar on the horizon.

"Very fresh ingredianta and local wines. We had the chilled corn soup, this fragrant beautifully presented and had a delicious taste. I had a dish that I dont rememeber how to pronounce but it was thse tender ricotta filled balls and veggies totally wonderful mix of flavors. My husband had the chicken special and although the chicken was good, the sauce was a bit overwhelming with not wnough base ingrediant to absorb it and the jalapenos.
Loved the local ingrediants, wines and beers, will recomend
