Inspired on the thousands of cebicherias found throughout Peru, La Mar Cebicheri­a Peruana, was created as an attempt to globalize and enshrine one of the best guarded treasures of Peruvian cuisine: cebiche, Peruvian seafood and the scenery created to enjoy them, the Peruvian style cebicheria.

Per Diem’s menu is centered on the use of fresh ingredients and inventive flavor combinations paired with classic cooking techniques. Starters such as the Burrata on a Grilled Crostone with Marshall’s Farm Honey and Toasted Nuts or a San Francisco original, Cioppino with Mussels, Scallops, Prawns, Market Fish and Calamari make for a quick, light bite. Enjoy one of many delectable sandwiches such as the Croque-Madame, Leg of Lamb, or Open Faced Salmon Sandwich.

Barrel House offers a unique farm to table experience in downtown Sausalito which celebrates local seasonal ingredients and sustainability in a beautiful setting. <br /><br />Barrel House focuses on letting the ingredients shine. To this end, Barrel House supports local farmers and organic practices due to their amazing quality as well as being harvested at their peak of ripeness.<br /><br />Barrel House will feature barrel aged and classic cocktails. Its wine menu highlights west coast winemakers. Barrel House will have rotating local micro brews on tap as well as wines on tap. Additionally, we will be hand crafting our own sodas with ingredients that we source at the local farmers markets. <br /><br />Barrel House features furniture and woodwork that was handcrafted using reclaimed black walnut and curly maple trees. Every seat in the Barrel House has sweeping views of the Bay and an outdoor deck that sits right over the water.

"My Ling Cod dish was superb. The light sauce really complimented the cod as well as clams. Our guests from San Jose thoroughly enjoyed their Local Wild Salmon. We all enjoyed our Ahi Tuna Tartare and Lamb Meatballs, Grilled Peaches & Burrata. Overall, it was a wonderful evening on behalf of our fabulous waiters - very attentive."

"I was a bit skeptical about Hakkasan due to the typical restaurants such as The Slanted Door and Osha, where they use heavy ingredients and sauces that add as much as 2,500 calories per dish, but I was surprised to see that the dishes were very well done. We ordered Spicy prawn and Crispy silver cod with superior soy sauce, and they were tasty. I would come back and taste other dishes, and perhaps stop by in the evening to sample some of their cocktails. The bar looks very vibrant."

The Cavalier is an all-day London-inspired brasserie, located in the new Hotel Zetta.<br /><br />This is the third property for restaurateurs Anna Weinberg, James Nicholas & Chef Jennifer Puccio; the team behind Marlowe and Park Tavern. The team has collaborated with award winning San Francisco designer Ken Fulk, who has revamped the interior in deep leather banquettes, polished brass, zinc and white marble, giving it a posh and sultry feel.

Mistral’s California cuisine is very Mediterranean-influenced, and focuses on serving the best local ingredients available. Chef Tim Fabatz serves up an immensely popular daily fresh fish special and has excellent seafood and shellfish offerings on the seasonally current regular menu. Mistral is committed to being responsible to the environment and to the people around us; therefore our seafood is from sustainable sources, our beef is hormone-free Certified Angus, naturally-raised pork, lamb and chicken are of the best quality available, organic produce is used wherever possible, and no trans fats are used in any recipe preparations. Mistral is a destination restaurant for anniversaries & birthdays, and has an off-the-beaten-path ambiance with year-‘round patio dining and water views, an outdoor fireplace, and plenty of outside heaters. Two private rooms and the covered patio are available for private dining, business dinners, banquets, cocktail parties, weddings, and special events.

"I have not been back to Mistral for over a year or so. I was quite impressed with their attentive service. Both my clients and I ordered pan-seared scallops, and they were very good (probably can use a little less dressing. It overwhelmed the scallops). Overall, we enjoyed the ambiance and excellent service. The only think I would recommend is to tone down the menu prints. It is definitely too busy, and makes you feel like you are looking at Chevy's."
