The Smith is a casual American Brasserie with three upbeat locations in New York City: The Smith East Village, The Smith Midtown and The Smith Lincoln Center. Utilizing local products and purveyors, the breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner menus feature a selection of familiar bistro dishes. The Smith attracts colleagues for a drink after work, business dinners, a quick bite before a movie, late night revelers, families for Sunday brunch and more. Offering private rooms at all locations, guests can stop by for all occasions. <br />

"It's nice to have an East Village location of the Smith to add our Brunch roster. The food is very good (recommended: Vanilla Bean French Toast, Candied Bacon) and service also pleasant and attentive. This is a high energy spot, so expect it to be noisy. The place was already packed at 11:AM! And remember that they cannot serve you a brunch cocktail until 12 noon on Sundays!"

"Haru is generally reliable for a business lunch spot for its convenient location, fairly quick service and very good Japanese food at reasonable prices. On this occasion the tempura in my Chicken Teriyaki Lunch Box was room temperature when served and cold by the time I got around to eating it. Not the best lunch I've had but it was an exception as the food is usually quite good."
