Sitting on the “nexus of the universe”, bridging the East Village and the Lower East Side. Mezetto is where you can come to simply enjoy great food, fun drinks and good company. Inspired from the word 'Meze' which refers to a selection of small dishes served in the Mediterranean as breakfast, lunch or even dinner. It is our take on tapas-style dinning, offering small plates meant to be shared amongst friends to create an social dining experience. We are focused on taking traditional flavors and cooking styles of the Mediterranean and bringing them to life with new age cooking techniques, creative combinations and bold presentations.
Mezetto is how we do Meze.

"I've come back to Mezetto again and again with many different groups - family, friends, date. Great for all crowds - always delicious (both food and drinks). Will continue to go back!"

Cutting edge vegetarian food with added flavor and no politics in this sleek and stylish underground room that’s a showcase for crazy, pop-tastic dishes from award-winning chef, Amanda Cohen. A below-the-radar wine list, raves from Gourmet and Bon Appetit, and vegetables presented in all their earth-shattering, gob-smacking glory.

"Very differentiated and phenomenal vegetarian food - almost all of which can easily be made vegan too! Amanda Cohen takes regular concepts (celery and peanut butter, hot dogs) and makes them fun vegetarian desserts and entrees. Definitely a can't miss! Only wish it didn't take so long to get a reservation."
