Zocalo Restaurant is located in the center of Charlottesville's historic downtown pedestrian mall. We serve contemporary, Latin inspired cuisine in a warm, modern setting. Flavors are drawn from Spain, South America and Mexico, and our dishes are prepared using traditional French techniques and the highest quality ingredients. Zocalo’s cuisine has just the right amount of boldness and spice to excite your palate without overwhelming it, and we strive to get it right every time. Pair your meal with a glass of wine from Zocalo’s extensive wine list, which features a broad selection of Spanish, South American and local Virginia wines. Zocalo’s large patio is a regional hotspot where guests enjoy sipping a signature cocktail, such as the Mango Borracho or a traditional Mojito, as they catch up with friends or relax and watch the endless parade of people strolling the downtown mall. Come and see what has made us a favorite with locals and visitors alike for the past decade.

"We are foodies from New York City and were visiting UVA. If you want advice, here it is: THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I WOULD GO TO. I searched diligently for places to eat being rather picky. I saw their menu and read all of the reviews of every place. We made a reservationi and can unequivocally say this place is EXCELLENT. Every meal was absollutely delicious and equalled or exceeded some of the best meals we've had in NY. The gazpacho was delicious with a bit of shrimp etc in the center, the roast chicken, the steak and the salmon were all abssolutely divine and rich in flavor. The chocolate bread pudding was also delicious. If you are in Charlottesville, THIS is where you should eat. Period."

"I have been having dinners and lunches at Osteria for years and the quality is always excellent, service is always amazing, and the restaurant is spacious, and authentic. It is a very pleasant romantic yet relaxed atmosphere that is both upbeat and sophisticated. The menu has options that are all excellent."

Opened in 2006, Prime: An American Kitchen & Bar is among one of the finest restaurants not just on Long Island, or in New York, but in the world. The latest trends in cuisine and design come together at Prime to present the most insatiable and fashionable of diners with a first choice dining destination whatever their mood.

Please understand that requests for outdoor tables will be honored if possible, but no guarantees can be made for a particular table or dining room. Often, reservations will have to wait for an outdoor table as they are the most popular and the tables are sat on a first come, first served basis. We will do our best to accommodate any requests within reason. Thank you for your understanding in advance of your visit.

"But for the fact it is on the water, not sure if I would spend the high prices for the food here. It's extremely expensive, and I say that as an employed professional, meaning even someone who can afford it feels it's over the top! I come here for the fabulous outdoor dining and the less expensive menu that has a couple of things that are reasonable. Highly recommend the lobster roll and the burger is a good value and tasty. I don't come here for the dinners because there are options elsewhere in the town that are just as good if not better quality and with more reasonable prices. But it's great for sitting outside on the water for a light lunch and a drink."

"Our first Seasons 52 visit was in Philly. When I was told it was a "chain" I was shocked and absolutely thrilled that there was one here. The food choices are many, all of them are absolutely excellent, healthy and they even have a gluten free menu. It has a sophisticated ambiance, very classy, well-designed. Service is top notch and the tour de force are the incredibly amazing dessert cup choices -- have more than one! I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND the thin flat breads with various toppings as the appetizer. The salmon on a plank is incredibly delicious, as it the roast chicken, as are many others. They take something ordinary and create a masterpiece of flavor. Seriously, you can see I am a true fan and come here quite often."

After years of pleasing diners with huge portions of delicious home style food, Piccola Bussola opened its second location. At the entrance is a large inviting bar which leads into the main dining room. To the right is a more intimate dining room and for all your celebrations, we have a large party room. The Lubrano family, who have been in the restaurant business on Long Island for more than 25 years, greet customers with warmth and gracious hospitality.

Dishes at this "family style" restaurant are made of fine, high quality ingredients. The menu is made up of a wide variety of pasta, meat, chicken and seafood dishes. Wines are reasonably priced with many selections available by the glass. Homemade desserts include an outstanding pear tart and superb tiramisu. Service is friendly and efficient.

The Lubrano family - Pasquale and Raffaela and their sons Tony, John, Carlo and Marco welcome you to enjoy their wholesome cooking at all of their fine restaurants.

"Had never been here, made reservation for business lunch. The place was empty which was surprising. The service was excellent (although we were the only ones there) and the food was good, many reliable Italian choices. Perhaps it is busier on the weekends, felt kind of awkward without other diners."

Originally opened in October of 1996, Grafton Street Pub and Grill has been a beloved institution of Harvard Square for over a decade. Located at 1230 Massachusetts Avenue-the Gateway of Harvard Square-this neighborhood hotspot is named after the spirited cobblestone-lined shopping district in Dublin's famed Temple Bar area. Grafton Street deftly combines a traditional pub's warmth and coziness with a contemporary and comfortable dining environment. Executive Chef Eric Gregory serves up contemporary American cuisine for lunch and dinner seven days a week, including a prized Sunday brunch. The bustling bar boasts an extensive selection of beer, wine and liquor, and features many signature cocktails created exclusively by award-winning Grafton Street mixologists. The 5,000 square foot space revels in tones of cream, beige and brown, complemented by black trim, yielding what is a well-designed but inherently relaxed space.

"We were from out of town and visiting family, agreed to meet for a Sunday breakfast at Grafton. The food choices were fabulous, substantial and creatively delicious. We were very happy with the seating too, able to accommodate our group, it was also a beautiful day allowing them to open up the outside walls so that the breeze and sun could stream in. Very pleasant experience. Also hip and trendy so you felt like it was the center of activity."
