Directly across from the Verizon Center, Rosa Mexicano has been serving classic Mexican cuisine for over 20 years. Try the famous guacamole, prepared tableside, & sip a frozen pomegranate margarita while enjoying the festive, stylish and comfortable ambiance.

Hill Country is proud to have opened in DC! Named "Best Barbecue in NY" by both New York Magazine and Time Out New York, "Top 10 Barbecue in the U.S." by the Wall Street Journal and "Best New Restaurants of the Year" by New York Magazine, Hill Country takes its "cue" from legendary Texas barbecue joint Kreuz Market and its distinctive dry-rub style. Hill Country's brisket, sausage, ribs and other meats are smoked low and slow over Texas post oak. The barbecue is served in butcher paper, counter-style by the pound, with traditional trimmings.

We source the finest, sustainable & local ingredients to create handcrafted food & beverages.

Our setting is unmatched and the best casual, neighborhood dining in the West End. The bar is ornately decorated with massive mirrors, large columns and a multitude of glowing candles. These, along with the open kitchen where flames leap from the grill, create a warmth and intimacy in a casual atmosphere.

"We went to slate wine bar for brunch a few weeks back, it was wonderful! The doughnut holes for appetizers were excellent! Both brunch entrees were delicous. The staff was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I will be back again soon!!!"

Ping Pong restaurant is a modern take on a very ancient Chinese tradition - the Tea House. Hundreds of years ago, merchants on the Silk Road would stop at tea houses enroute to rest their weary feet, relax and drink tea with their fellow travelers and share Dim Sum - baskets and dishes of little sweet and savory snacks, usually steamed, baked or fried. Ping Pong may be a Twenty-First Century Tea House, but
we’ve kept all the best bits of that ancient tradition, like meeting to relax and share appetizing food and fragrant tea. We just thought that after the first thousand years or so it would be OK to add cocktails to the menu.

Sushi Rock is a combination of love, passion and perspective. It is the love to eat good food and drink well while doing so with great people. In providing the place for people to do this, Sushi Rock represents the perspective that both can be done in a fun and entertaining environment full of energy. At Public Group/SET Entertainment, Sushi Rock embodies the opportunity to be the local watering hole, the destination, the cozy meet-up place, the big group place or the special event place. Whatever the patrons needs, we believe Sushi Rock is the one place where everyone can feel comfortable in any size group sharing themselves, sharing a drink, and/or sharing good food.
