"We ate at Gertrudes on Saturday night 5/10/14. The Chihuly exhibit was in full swing and the gardens were extremely crowded. The restaurant, however, had empty tables. Despite empty tables, the service was extremely slow. We ordered wine and it took at least 20 minutes to get to us. I could see the carafes sitting at the bar, but the waiter was overwhelmed. The food was mediocre. I ordered the risotto. It was bland and mushy. My salad was good and my fiance's fish tacos looked and tasted okay, but nothing special. I had heard that the food was excellent, but I was frankly disappointed."

"Our experience was not as great as it has been in the past, but still I always enjoy Millenium.
We took 3 friends who are carnivores and I recommended the fixed menu. The fiddlehead salad was great and the artichoke salad very tasty and interesting. The main courses were a bit disappointing.
The quinoa was good but the risotto was salty and the fava beans overwhelming. The dessert was great as always.
Next time I will recommend that they order off the regular menu.
The drinks were great- especially the nettle-tini.
The wine list is reasonable.
Millenium is expensive and I knew that. I can remember ordering a tasting menu a few years ago that was out of this world- it appears that is no longer offered.
