"This is one of our favorite places for a good casual dinner. This Saturday night the evening was perfect to sit outside and enjoy the live music. Our waiter, Jimmy is always very pleasant, efficient and accomodating and tonight was no exception. However, one of my favorite fish dishes, Sea Bass, was very dull in taste. I think they forgot to add the salsa. The entree did inclcude a couple of shrimp and a small portion of crab, which was a nice surprise. My husband said his prime rib was very good."

Stephen Starr's stylish addition to Rittenhouse Square pays tribute to French cafe culture, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, ideal for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Parc recalls the chic brasseries of Paris, serving classic French fare in a charming space. Red leather banquettes topped with frosted glass provide a sense of intimacy. Details such as well-worn wooden chairs, vintage framed paintings and photos and antique brass fixtures transport guests across the Atlantic. French doors spill onto a sidewalk terrace covered by a dark red awning perfect for dining "en plein air." Reservations are not accepted for outdoor tables.

The redesigned rustic-meets-modern ambiance compliments the Contemporary American menu which features premium cuts of meat, ocean-fresh seafood and signature raw bar. Seasonal outdoor dining on the flagstone patio is available upon request.
In 2013, Blue Bell Inn underwent extensive renovations for over a year. Various historical aspects were enhanced through thoughtful restoration and new materials such as solid white oak and porcelain tile floors were introduced to create a stunning architectural mélange spanning three centuries.

"The restaurant has just opened after a year of renovations so there is a learning curve. Our waiter couldn't describe any of the Chardonnays on the drink menu saying all Chardonnays taste oaky? The salads were wonderful but my Branzino, while very good, was not as good as the side dish that came with it. My husband ordered a short rib with a side of lobster and the lobster was "plopped" on top. An "interesting" presentation.
Unfortunately, the Chateaubriand is gone. I guess, as one of the management recently mentioned, we are considered one of the "older people" no longer part of their target market.
We ran into some friends and the waitstaff was very cordial about letting us move to another table."

With sixth-floor views of the Empire State building and three wood-burning ovens, Stella 34 Trattoria is a modern trattoria and the dining star of Macy’s flagship store.

Executive Chef Jarett Appell offers Neapolitan pizza from wood-burning ovens with fior di latte mozzarella, Caputo flour imported from Naples, San Marzano tomatoes from the foothills of Mt. Vesuvius and water meticulously sourced from local wells to match the pH and mineral balance of the natural spring water in Naples. The menu showcases al forno entrées, house-made pasta, “piccoli piatti” – signature antipasti designed for sharing - and an all-Italian wine list of more than 100 bottles.

Open 7 days a week for lunch, lounge & dinner. Direct access from the street is available via dedicated express elevators at Macy’s Broadway & 35th Street entrance.
"The food has always been very good when we have been here but the service tends to be a little slow, especially for NYC."

"A perfect evening at a perfect restaurant. John Mariani of the Virtual Gourmet said this was the best restaurant in NYC and he was right. We had a marvelous dinner of lobster rolls and liver pate for appetizers, a grain salad and fois gras for a starter and lobster for our entree. All were unbelievable. The amuse bouche, which was a carrot soup, was to die for.... What more can we say?"
