In the authentic Italian tradition, we select our simple, whole ingredients and combine them by hand with heart, using the time-honored method of open flame cooking. We utilize the intense heat of our wood burning ovens to lend unique flavor to our food.<br> From our hand-made mozzarella to our artisanal pizzas, pastas and salads, we have a passion for quality and pride in our product that we know you'll appreciate. We only use sustainable, fresh, local ingredients.

"We have been here 3 times, enjoyed different meals each time and will be back, regularly. From the bread to the appetizers to the specials and to the regular main courses, everything was delightful. The best marinara, a perfect blend of rich tomatoes, onions, fresh herbs and seasonings, in Central Florida. The most spectacular mussels ever: rich broth, fresh and tender mussels (no unopened shells), great mix of flavors, lots of garlic and bread for sopping. Four stars for food only because the steaks in two of the dinners were slightly over-cooked (no replacement needed) and the one pasta side was way undercooked, though they replaced it immediately with a larger portion, perfectly al dente and well sauced. Sommelier was a trip: funny, friendly and very competent. Tell him what wines you enjoy and what type of food you will have and he will offer reasonably priced alternatives from their list, and steer you clear of mistakes. Service was friendly, very professional and prompt. Overall experience was terrific as always."

"I have spent 30 years eating out for business and pleasure all over the world, at least 10-12 times per month, most excellent/good, some bad. The Chart House overall was the worst ever and it was not even close: The view doesn't matter, the food doesn't mean anything, the service which went from competent to abusive, who cares?
7PM reservation for 4 on a Wednesday night, 3/4 empty inside, half empty outside. Took our waterside table, got water, ordered drinks, said we wanted to order food. The server suggested she would take our order after bringing us bread and our drinks. Ten minutes later, at 7:10 she was back with drinks and bread and took our order: two salads to split as starters, 3 grilled fish, 1 prime rib, mashed potatoes and green beans for mains. Time passed. Drinks emptied, water gone. More time passed, we flagged down server to ask what was wrong and to order more drinks and more bread because by now it was 7:45 and no salad. She said it was their busy season and we needed to understand. Remember the restaurant is less than half full. Finally at 8:10, one hour after ordering, we received the salad. By the way we are now talking full time about how long it was taking and watching the other diners around us sit without food too, rather than enjoying the view, drinks. food and celebrating the occasion. At 8:40, 1 hour and 30 minutes after ordering, we received the food. Grilled fish takes ten minutes to prep and cook! Prime rib needs to be sliced to the correct size and temperature, no cooking required! Why so long? Waitress treated us like idiots in her response... Three orders were wrong: grilled tuna had sauce and no green beans, prime rib was overcooked, sea bass no green beans and seasoned, not plain, mashed potatoes. We ate what we received fearful of what would happen if we returned it. Paid the bill and left. The valet said he had had several customers leave without eating because it was taking so long. So heed this warning, please!"

"We went before the Diana Ross concert so timing was everything. They delivered excellent food at an optimized pace, so it was an enjoyable start to a fun evening. Lamb sandwiches were decadent. Pasta special was sufficient size and very interesting blend of flavors. House salad was large and filled with crisp greens and well balanced vinaigrette. Soup of the day was rich broth with savory beans and greens. Seafood and grits smallish, but flavorful and well cooked: creamy grits, two large shrimp, 4 clams, nice side veg. End result: completely empty plates, four smiling diners heading to the Dr. Phillips Center with time to spare."
