VAS911's Reviews

The menu is seasonal american with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and a nod to sustainable practices. With wood-fired cooking in full view, seasonal flatbreads, roasted vegetables, market fresh fish, and free-range poultry and grass-fed beef preparations take on the wonderful smokiness of the wood-fired open hearth. Vibrant salads, comforting pasta dishes, and artisan foods, such as a revolving cheese selection, round out the innovative menu.

Menu highlights include; eleven14 Kitchen seafood carpaccio; spicy prime beef tartare; roasted local beet and artisan burata; roasted forest mushroom toast; roasted sockeye salmon and baby artichoke; homemade duck sausage pizza; flat noodle pasta and maine lobster; organic farmed roasted chicken; and grilled tuna steak grilled rare.

"We were looking to try someplace new to celebrate my husbands birthday and were ultimately happy with our choice of the J House restaurant. Three generations dined (teenaged daughter, ourselves and my mother) and all enjoyed the meal, the ambience and the service as well. Our choices included typical breakfast fare for one, a burger choice for another and the crepe and panini specials and everyone was happy With their selection!
We do plan to return to J House restaurant in the future, perhaps for lunch or dinner!"

"Went for my birthday with my mom, husband and teenage daughter for an earlyish Sunday dinner and we all were happy and more than satisfied with our dining experience. We had two appetizers (calamari and lobster risotta) the spicy seafood chowder, entres including the fish and chips, the red snapper, the spaghetti with fresh crabmeat and my own tile fish special (to die for :) ) ... Service was excellent; was quiet in restaurant (not unexpected for earlyish on Sunday) but got livelier as dinner progressed. I could see that eating outside here would have upped the ambience for us, but that noteithstanding, we will be returning to Coast Seafood and highly recommend it."
