The Porterhouse Brewing Co. at Fraunces Tavern, is located in one of the city's most historic landmarks in the downtown Financial District. The Porterhouse offers a large range of small batch and specialty beers, serving traditional American food with a strong Irish influence. Fraunces Tavern has been a part of our city's history since 1762. Now under new management, you can expect a modern experience in an authentic historical space while enjoying great food, drinks, and atmosphere.

"This was my second time visiting while in NYC. Our first time the service was great. This time, a bus girl took my empty wine glass and did not inform our waitress or ask if I wanted a second glass. Our waitress was MIA for at least 10 minutes so we had no water or wine for over 10 minutes! The food was very god, if you like Brussels sprouts they were amazing!"

"Valentines day was special occasion pre fixe menu. Great selection of six course meal. Restaurant was filled to capacity and the wait staff got a bit confused over course order for a couple of tables...food was so good no customers complained...the ambiance was calming enough and food good enough that which comes in order salad or soup didn't really matter. Food was wonderful."

Serving Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch, Restaurant R’evolution is the first joint venture of award-winning chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto, offering modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Steeped in the diverse historic and cultural influences of Louisiana, the menu features not only the chefs’ interpretations of New Orleans classics such as gumbo, po’ boys, and beignets, but also new creations highlighting ingredients from what Chef Folse refers to as “the swamp floor pantry.” Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying.Soups such as Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup and Death by Gumbo play on unusual presentations of these traditional dishes that date back centuries. Desserts showcase classical New Orleans sweets done in a new and contemporary way.

"We were there on a cold Tuesday and were one table of only about five so service was excellent. Food and dessert were also very good. We're willing to change a menu item for more spicy."
