Chef Michael Cutney's newest Venture The Twisted Oak, takes a fun and casual approach to New American Fare with Italian Influences. Sourcing from Local Farmers and Growers,The Twisted Oak offers a daily changing menu featuring ingredients from the Hudson Valleys' Bounty. Located just steps away from the famed Tarrytown Music Hall, the Restaurant is set in a turn of the century photography studio. The main dining room is dressed with paintings from local artists and the bar, which was handcrafted from Oak Wine Barrels, you can expect to find boutique wines, seasonal cocktails, and local brews. The Twisted Oak is quickly becoming a neighborhood favorite with its delicious food, refined service, and excellent hospitality.

"Every review I read mentioned the chick peas, so we got those "for the table". OMG! I am still thinking about them. The duck lasagna was decadent and tasty. But I could have done with a layer or two less of the pasta and more greens. My husband loved his pasta with pork ragu and my son loved his pork chop. We shared a chocolate souffle for dessert that was warm, eggy and creamy and just perfect. My only regret is that I couldnt try more things. I would love a tasting menu! Really from the bread to the wine to the food to the service..a winner. I cant wait to go back"

"We went after seeing a 2:0 show on a Saturday. So we got there very early, around 5:00. Cucumber martini was fantastic, the food was fresh and delicious. We had the spare ribs on pork belly on sugar cane, fried calamari and steamed dumplings. All were really great. Then we shared eggplant and tofu with basil and shrimp basil fried rice. Both were delicious and we were stuffed. There are so many Thai restaurants on that block its hard to knwo what to choose. But the servers wer attentive and friendly and the prices were reasonable. So I would go back"

"It felt hectic and the hostesses seemed overwhelmed. The service was fine but not as attentive as usual. The food was good and it does have a nice view. But there are so many places in Westchester with great food, this was not exceptional. Too many items on the menu had surcharges (the surcharge for the steak was more than the full menu..why include it?) The bread was HORRIBLE. IT was as if they just bought it from the supermarket..cold and hard and tasteless. With a fixed and limited menu it shouldn't have felt so out of control. I am in no rush to return which is too bad because we have had some lovely meals there"
