Our cuisine is coastal Mediterranean with influences of Italy and Provence using local ingredients and 100% sustainable seafood. Our service is professional, yet relaxed and we strive to make each guest a guest for life by welcoming them into our inviting environment and providing them with a great meal at a reasonable price.

"This restaurant just went through a major renovation and the ambiance is wonderful. The menu has also been changed featuring more pastas. Everything we had was delicious and the service was first-rate."

"This is a very casual restaurant setting, but they serve delicious food. My wife had the home made gnocchi and I had the pork loin. Both are highly recommended. The best of all may be their signature coconut cake, which is the best coconut cake anywhere."

"… is the reason to come here. It's a decent local eatery but on Monday nights with $5 cheeseburgers and $1 jumbo shrimp it becomes a wonderful "price/value" dining out place. On other nights, not bad, but nothing memorable."

A farm to table American restaurant with a focus on seafood. Our menus change daily to reflect the best of what the markets have to offer and allows us to feature the work of many local artisans, growers and fishermen. A three course seafood tasting menu is always available. Jeremy and Lisa Sewall created Lineage Restaurant"s concept. We are a married couple with extensive culinary experience and deep New England roots. Located in the heart of Coolidge Corner, Brookline, Massachusetts, the name "Lineage" is based on Jeremy's own. In 1705, when this "Muddy River" hamlet of Boston became incorporated, Samuel Sewall, son of Judge Sewall of Salem Witch Trials fame, lent the community his services as the first Town Clerk and, it is thought, the name of his family's "Brooklin" lands, which lay between the Charles and Muddy Rivers.

"It was wonderful. Delicious cuisine in an attractive setting. They really know how to cook seafood (although the hamburger at the next table looked great). We had the halibut and scallops. The scallops were part of a three course meal, which was perfect. The server was highly attentive and nice. No attitude here. We'll be back!"

"The gnocchi appetizer was perfect and the striped bass entree was totally delicious. Hands down, this is the best restaurant in the western Boston suburbs. Oh, and the banana profiteroles dessert contained the best banana gelato one could eat!"

"From the tasty Italian bread to the delicious grilled trout, this place is Italian heaven. Very reasonably priced fare in a high-ceilinged bistro atmosphere. The butterscotch budino (pudding) dessert is wonderful."
