"Why go into Boston when you can have a wonderful meal in Concord? The fava beans with pappardelle and the striped bass were as good as any Beantown eatery. And the desserts were delicious. Now with 80 Thoreau in the same town, Concord has become a hot place to dine."

"I had the grouper and my wife had the halibut. Both were delicious. And the preparations, including a choice of several different sauces, were wonderful. It's not inexpensive, but for the quality absolutely worth it."

Steve and Michelle Corry, the proprietors of Five Fifty-Five, arrived in Portland armed with a passionate vision and extensive experience in the restaurant industry. Steve began his culinary career as a brew master at several breweries in Northern California. In 1999, he attended the New England Culinary Institute in Burlington Vermont. After graduating in 2001, he returned to California to work at Domaine Chandon in Napa Valley. A graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration, Michelle Corry has worked at numerous prestigious establishments, including the French Laundry in Napa. Together, they have envisioned a dining experience that would combine a comfortable atmosphere, professional service, and fresh, simple, and delicious food sourced locally. Steve and Michelle Corry would like to welcome you to their first collaborative, Five Fifty-Five.

"If this isn't the best restaurant in Maine, it's pretty darn close to being number one. Everything we had was wonderful. In particular, the soup and gnocchi were outstanding. If you are looking to celebrate an event, or just enjoy a fabulous meal, go to 555 Congress Street."

"If you are looking to have brunch in a very civilized atmosphere, this is the place to dine. Set in the middle of the Museum of Fine Arts, along with live string music in the background, it's a pleasant experience. The food is delicious. The only issue was our server who was not very skilled. Plates were about to be removed before people finished and she wasn't familiar with the menu."

"This is New England food with a contemporary flair. We both had the halibut cheeks and potato leek soup and both were delicious. The chocolate pudding dessert was very sweet but it's homemade goodness made us going back for more. All in all, a very satisfying meal."

A true gem among all those rhinestones in the North End, this rustic but cozy trattoria with stucco walls and beamed ceilings specializes in creative interpretations of Italian classics.
Behind Terramia's pane-windowed storefront on Salem Street is a busy trattoria decked out in linens, candlelight and paintings of the Italian countryside. Like the cuisine here, the atmosphere is elegant yet understated. Since opening in 1993, Terramia has aimed to convince North End diners that there was always more to Italian food than red sauce. Over the Years, the inventive and beloved restaurant has done a great deal of convincing. You'll find creative interpretations of seasonally-based classics here.
The ever-changing menu incorporates seasonal vegetables and the catch of the day. Homemade pasta dishes feature unconventional preparation styles--ravioli is served open-faced, with scallops, shrimp and zucchini, in a lobster mascarpone sauce.

"We went during Restaurant Week and had the 3-course prix-fix meal. We both had the home made ravioli appetizers which were as good as any ravioli we've tasted. My wife had the arctic char and I had the chicken and both were excellent. For dessert she had tiramisou and I had the cannoli. Again, excellent. The only reason we didn't give this place five-stars is because the tables are right next to each other and it's not a place to dine when you want to relax and spend a few hours in a restaurant."

"We had another terrific meal. The striped bass was excellent. It wasn't inexpensive, but absolutely worth it. Our only issue was with the linguine with asparagus entree–just the stalks were used. What happened to the top parts of the asparagus?!"

"There were 10 of us and the experience could not have been better. We were seated in the alcove area on the second floor, which is a semi-private room. The server accommodated everyone's needs, including two young children. The pacing was wonderful as we were seated for nearly 2 1/2 hours. And, the food was delicious. The lemon sole special was a big hit with most of our diners. It's wonderful that there is now a place like this in Sudbury!"

"Our dinner was good, but not as good as Merriman's in Maui. We traveled 45-minutes from where we were staying on the Big Island to dine here because we had such a wonderful experience at their sister restaurant in Maui. Not only was the cuisine at a higher level in Maui, but the ambience was MUCH better because of the ocean views. This location has a small dining room with no views. The bottom line is that it still is a fine restaurant, but we had much higher expectations having dined at their other eatery in Maui."

Chef Mark and Judy Ellman have opened a seafood shack, right next door to Mala Ocean Tavern. Honu Seafood and Pizza also sits right on the rocks of the Pacific Ocean, with 50 beers, an organic and eclectic wine list, and an extensive scotch and rum selection. Mark and Judy have created an environment that soothes the savage beasts craving of oysters on the half shell, steamed clams and mussels, Crab Louis salad, a selection of Hawaiian seafood, as well as fish from the West and East Coasts of the US. Honu also features a 900 degree brick-oven turning out artisinal pizzas. Come to Honu, drink a local Micro-brewed beer ,eat some freshly shucked oysters on the half shell, and let your eyes and soul relax into the Pacific. Honu, like Mala, is run by Mark and Judy Ellman and their two daughters Ariana and Michelle. Remember, we always try and practice Aloha. Please come and practice with us.
Aloha.

"With everything from hamburgers to delicious fresh fish, Honu is an ideal place to have lunch in West Maui. It's not inexpensive, but from a price-value perspective, it's as good as any place in Maui, particularly for lunch. The fish sandwiches are wonderful, as is the lilikoi pie for dessert!"
