"If you want Boston dining in Sudbury, go here. In fact, the executive chef used to be the sous chef at Sol de la Terre. Delicious fish and wonderful pasta."

A true gem among all those rhinestones in the North End, this rustic but cozy trattoria with stucco walls and beamed ceilings specializes in creative interpretations of Italian classics.
Behind Terramia's pane-windowed storefront on Salem Street is a busy trattoria decked out in linens, candlelight and paintings of the Italian countryside. Like the cuisine here, the atmosphere is elegant yet understated. Since opening in 1993, Terramia has aimed to convince North End diners that there was always more to Italian food than red sauce. Over the Years, the inventive and beloved restaurant has done a great deal of convincing. You'll find creative interpretations of seasonally-based classics here.
The ever-changing menu incorporates seasonal vegetables and the catch of the day. Homemade pasta dishes feature unconventional preparation styles--ravioli is served open-faced, with scallops, shrimp and zucchini, in a lobster mascarpone sauce.

"It was a good meal, nothing memorable, however. The best thing is the price/value ratio as everything was fine for the prices charged. If you seek high quality cuisine and/or a warm ambience, this is not the place to dine. There were six of us and the grouper was the number one hit. That entree was prepared very well and if all the dishes were as good as this fish, the overall rating would be higher."

It was just two short years after the opening of Carmen Anthony Steakhouse that our beautiful Carmen Anthony Fishhouse opened in historic Woodbury. Born of our legendary commitment to excellence, we are known for our fresh-only fish in nearly endless variety, and live Maine lobsters up to 5 pounds, cooked to perfection. We also feature a superior wine list and the same superb customer service that all Carmen Anthony Restaurants are known for. Year after year, all Carmen Anthony wine lists are awarded the prestigious “Award of Excellence” by Wine Spectator Magazine. The readers of Connecticut Magazine declare us among their numerous awards, “Connecticut’s Best Clam Chowder," “Connecticut’s Best Crab Cake” and "Best Seafood in Litchfield County."

"We had a delicious lunch here. Get the hot lobster roll sandwich. Desserts are homemade but for whatever reason the whipped cream comes out of a can and is not homemade."

"We went on a Monday night when most places are quiet. This place was packed. And with good reason. The food is delicious. The pear salad and monkfish were excellent. The banana carmel cake was wonderful. The only issue is that it's a tight dining room, so you wouldn't go here for a long, comfortable quiet dinner. But go for the food."

Steve and Michelle Corry, the proprietors of Five Fifty-Five, arrived in Portland armed with a passionate vision and extensive experience in the restaurant industry. Steve began his culinary career as a brew master at several breweries in Northern California. In 1999, he attended the New England Culinary Institute in Burlington Vermont. After graduating in 2001, he returned to California to work at Domaine Chandon in Napa Valley. A graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration, Michelle Corry has worked at numerous prestigious establishments, including the French Laundry in Napa. Together, they have envisioned a dining experience that would combine a comfortable atmosphere, professional service, and fresh, simple, and delicious food sourced locally. Steve and Michelle Corry would like to welcome you to their first collaborative, Five Fifty-Five.

A farm to table American restaurant with a focus on seafood. Our menus change daily to reflect the best of what the markets have to offer and allows us to feature the work of many local artisans, growers and fishermen. A three course seafood tasting menu is always available. Jeremy and Lisa Sewall created Lineage Restaurant"s concept. We are a married couple with extensive culinary experience and deep New England roots. Located in the heart of Coolidge Corner, Brookline, Massachusetts, the name "Lineage" is based on Jeremy's own. In 1705, when this "Muddy River" hamlet of Boston became incorporated, Samuel Sewall, son of Judge Sewall of Salem Witch Trials fame, lent the community his services as the first Town Clerk and, it is thought, the name of his family's "Brooklin" lands, which lay between the Charles and Muddy Rivers.
