Oyamel Cocina Mexicana combines Mexico’s rich regional culinary traditions with modern urban fare. Guests experience an array of antijitos—traditional Mexican snack or small plates—along with authentic tacos, ceviches and an impressive selection of cocktails and tequilas. This is like no Mexican food you have ever experienced. Under the direction of renowned chef José Andrés, Head Chef Colin King takes traditional ingredients and techniques and elevates them to deliver dishes and drinks with exceptional creativity and refinement.

St. Arnold’s is a popular Cleveland Park mussel restaurant. A must is the mussels cooked in duck fat.

Welcome to Lavagna, a contemporary Italian restaurant named for a city located in the Genoa province of Northern Italy, where the hills are renowned for slate production. Over the years “Lavagna” became synonymous with “chalkboard”. The menu at Lavagna portrays our idea that food should be just like a chalkboard- simple, fresh, and innovated often. We source our ingredients locally, mostly from farms in the surrounding states and make everything in house. Don't miss our home-made pastas and local free range entrees!

Voted Best Italian in the 2015 Best of DC Washington City Paper Reader's Poll!
