La Chaumiere is as close as it gets to dining in a French country inn. Now entering its 37th year, La Chaumiere features traditional dishes like escargots en coquille, boudin blanc, quenelles of pike, cassoulet and Grand Marnier souffle. Chef Patrick's specials reflect a modern approach to seasonal produce, seafood and game with favorites like baked oysters, Dover sole and rabbit. La Chaumiere has won the "100 Best Restaurants" award 29 times since 1978!

"Went here for dinner on a date. The service and food was excellent, the venison in particular was very good. The seating though is more cramped than I'd prefer, you're pretty much on top of the people next to you. Which can be fine, but your experience might depend on which groups are to your left and right."

Corduroy serves the best of the season with much of the restaurants produce coming from local farms. Corduroy is not handicapped accessible due to the historic nature of our building. No shorts are permitted.

"Went here with a group of friends for a celebration. Dinner was awesome and the service was excellent. It's kind of nestled away between some houses so you have to keep an eye out for it. I was a particular fan of the antelope entree and pistachio bread pudding dessert.
...wear pants and real shoes, a friend of mine did not and regretted it."
