<br />Pamir is the name of a mountainous area in Central Asia mainly in Afghanistan once along the route of Marco Polo’s Silk Road and also inhabited by descendants of Alexander the Great’s troops. <br /><br />The region’s cuisine was fortunate to inherit many exotic spices and flavors of Central Asia and its surrounding countries with influence from the Far East, Middle East, Mediterranean and Russia. <br /><br />Pamir Restaurant was originally opened in NYC in 1979 and has maintained the same family ownership and great recipes. <br /><br />Enjoy a taste of our history! <br /><br />

Park East is the ultimate expression of what a high-end casual restaurant should be. The owners represent a convergence of different styles and experiences ranging from fine dining to elite night life environments. The Park East concept can best be described as trans-generational: an expression of the evolution of cuisines, vibe dining, service and ambiance, not to mention the highest ranked sushi in the area. Modern Italian Farm to Table Bistro featuring seasonal organic menu with Mediterranean influenced-specials created by chef/ owner Anthony A Clemente.<br />Featured on CNN.com and in Money Magazine<br />Open Table Diners' Choice Award 2013<br /><br />Chef Clemente trained in his familial homeland of Benevento (Napoli) Italy in early 2000's where he honed his skills under some of the great chefs of the area. He also spent time training in Spain, Portugal, and Greece where he rounded out his knowledge of the Mediterranean Cuisine.<br />Anthony was recently auditioned and considered for a role on a Food Network Program currently in pre-production
