Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. The menu features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 16 ounce New York Strip and a 12 ounce double cut filet. <br />

"What can I say Morton's? You always get it right! And I don't know how you train your servers, but you have some of the best in the business."

Established in 1728, our historic tavern welcomes Middleburg locals and travelers alike to enjoy hearty breakfasts, casual lunches and intimate candlelight dinners in the traditional Virginia style. Oak tables, handcrafted furnishings, stone fireplaces, hand-hewn ceiling beams and thick fieldstone walls create an intimate dining atmosphere any time of day. Our culinary team creates seasonal menus using ingredients indigenous to both Virginia and the South prepared with the time honored cooking techniques of smoking, braising, and roasting. The Tavern’s home-style dishes are simple yet genuine and feature many local ingredients sourced from area farms. The wine list boasts a diverse selection of domestic and imported vintages and show¬cases many wines from Virginia vineyards while the beer list features a rotating selection of craft beers by the bottle. Join us today for a bowl of our famous Virginia Peanut Soup, Southern Fried Chicken, or our signature Crab Cakes!

"I am NEVER disappointed when I go to the Red Fox Inn. Their food and service is outstanding, and I love that they two wine lists--one with a variety of wines and one with only Virginia wines. Of course we always choose a Virginia wine and I am glad to see that Red Fox continues to be such a supporter of local wineries and farmers. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant--everyone needs to take the drive out to Middleburg and try it!"

"The Mooring Restaurant came highly recommended by several websites as well as friends who had been to Newport (my family and I are from Washington DC) and did NOT disappoint. From start to finish the food was amazing, the service was great (considering how packed the restaurant was) and the wine list was definitely outstanding as well. I can't even eat shellfish and I loved it, and my dad said they were the best clams he had ever had--this from a man who has tried raw bars up and down the eastern seaboard and gulf coast. Also, the seafood doughnuts are definitely not to be missed. My mom and husband said they could've made a meal off of those alone! If you're in Newport, you need to try this restaurant!"
