Basilico Restaurant, located in Millburn, New Jersey was established by co-owners Mario DeMarco and Angelo Delbecchi, formerly of Sergio's, also in Millburn. Both are graduates of the Hotel Management School in Alassio, Italy. Both from Italy, they have brought their original and authentic Italian cuisine to Millburn.<br><br>Basilico has a definite New York look and feel, which reflects in our food items. We use the best of ingredients. "Casual and chic" is how we have been described by reviewers. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable and energetic. Our goal is to maintain the highest level of hospitality, remembering that you are the guest, and it is our ultimate goal for you to leave thoroughly satisfied. Special requests can be accommodated.

NICO Kitchen + Bar, the “Italian without Borders” restaurant concept from celebrated New Jersey Chef Ryan DePersio of Fascino and Bar Cara fame, is located in downtown Newark at NJPAC. Known for its power lunch week days, sophisticated happy hour, and contemporary, “shared plates” offerings, it also provides a delicious prelude to guests attending performances by offering a value-priced prix fixe menu before every curtain.

"After an initial friendly greeting the attitude of the hostess went quickly downhill after asking for a better located table in the relatively empty dining room. She was like a moody teenager. The waitress was very nice-informative and educating but then caused us to wait over 20 minutes after we asked for the check. Food was very good and the varied menu offered something for everyone."
