Situated on the iconic Chicago River with stunning views of the water and downtown, River Roast is a lively social house and gathering place from James Beard award-winning Chef Tony Mantuano and Executive Chef John Hogan. The menu features contemporary American tavern fare with dramatic presentations of whole roasted chicken, whole roasted fish and slow roasted beef; all carved tableside and served with signature potatoes. The food is handcrafted, yet rustic, with many plates designed for sharing. Two bars offer views of the water and a large selection of local beer, craft cocktails, beertails, and wine as well as carved meats from The Roost, River Roast’s carving stand. With one of the best patios in Chicago, River Roast is a great place to enjoy dining outside on a hot summer afternoon or a crisp fall evening. River Roast Private Events offers six flexible spaces, all with spectacular views, for parties from 10 to 1,000. Open daily for lunch, brunch, dinner and drinks.

"Everything was great! Food was excellent. The rotisserie chicken was some of the best I've ever had in my life. Went with some oysters as well which were fresh and delicious. Beer list boast local brews and 750ml large format options. Very impressive."

Ramen-san is a lively, neighborhood restaurant and bar in River North reminiscent of traditional ramen shops in Japan. The space is raw, anchored by exposed brick and reclaimed wood, which makes for an understated, yet inviting ambiance. Ramen-san marks the partners’ fourth collaboration with Japanese designer Kota Bando, who created a comfortable, approachable space where diners can enjoy noodles in a casual setting for dinner and late night.

"Thought it was OK compared to other Ramen I have had recently. The apps were nothing to brag about, but they have my favorite beer, Hitachino, so that was a plus."

Fulton Market Kitchen’s imaginative cuisine embraces global influences and advocates relaxed, free-form dining. Developed by James Gottwald (Monti's, Sunda, Rockit) and Kyle Petersen (Ceres' Table, Naha), the menu offers guests an alternative experience with playful presentations and ingredients sourced from their neighbors along Fulton Market Street.

"Pretty good initial offering from FMK. Steak tartare, and the ravioli and foie were delicious... I was a little underwhelmed by the Tail and Tail even though it was the most expensive middle plate. The white sauce for the fries was UNBELIEVABLE!
The artwork is extremely impressive. I would like to know when they do round 2! As a local, i feel that overall the food needs to step it up a notch to compete in the West Loop"

Old Town Scottsdale’s heart is beating to a Latin drum, now that The Mission has arrived and brightened the restaurant scene. Renowned Zinc Bistro Chef Matt Carter is now cooking up modern Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America. Home made Tortillas, Arepas, and Salsas are made fresh daily and all meats are prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor.

"Guacamole- UNREAL
Crispy Pork & Cola Lime Glaze- Best thing I have ever put in my mouth.
Short Rib Barbacoa- The waitress didnt seem to wild about this one but everyone said this was the best thing we ordered. The crunch of the B&B pickle made the dish.
The pork shoulder was our least favorite.
100% Must go to this place if you are in the area!!"

"Good food but nothing too impressive. The filet wrapped asparagus was recommended but wasn't cooked well enough. Our waiter, CJ, was pretty awesome though."
