Lidia Bastianich & her son Joe's Theater District mainstay. Best known for the $22.95 pasta tasting menu & the great selections on the $25 Italian wine list. Loved by locals & out of towners alike, Becco has been serving consistently delicious regional Italian cuisine since 1993. Located on the famed Restaurant Row in NYC's Theatre District, Becco is open for lunch & dinner seven days a week. Enjoy signature dishes, like the Osso Bucco, as well as the bounty of fresh seasonal preparations. The Reserve Wine list has many of Italy's best known producers, as well as some more eclectic wine makers. A knowledgeable staffer will be on hand to help you make a great choice. With 18 years on restaurant row, great food & great service help make Becco the right choice time & time again.

"Over the years the service has deteriorated (get them in and get them out mentality) and the menu hasn't changed much. The pasta special is still worth the money but some of the other food, and the prices, are not value for money. BEST ever meatballs, average burata..........."

Wander downstairs at the Red Rooster Harlem and you'll soon pick up the trail of its spirited sister venue. With a hat tipped to Harlem's Renaissance, Ginny's Supper Club is a modern reincarnation of the glamorous speakeasies and Harlem nights of the Twenties – an intimate lounge with a warm bourbon glow and an even warmer welcome.

Kindled by the hottest live music, creative cocktails, soulful food and Harlem's vibrant culture, Ginny's exists solely for the glory of a great night out.

"Ginny's (downstairs) at Red Rooster is great if you're looking for a tourist spot in Harlem to enjoy a little touristy gospel music. Food is buffet style and there's plenty of it but nothing to rave about. Staff great - rather expensive for what's included in the price. Upstairs food looked much better."

Located at the Mercer Hotel, Mercer Kitchen brings a chic, sophisticated vibe to the heart of SoHo. When Mercer Kitchen opened in 1998, it immediately became a destination for New Yorkers, celebrities, and tourists. Situated in the basement of a historic building constructed in the 1800s, the… restaurant was designed by Christian Liaigre as a combination of industrial and classic modernism. Chef Jean-Georges’ American menu features market-driven, seasonal ingredients prepared in a simple yet elegant style, with favorites like the Tuna Spring Roll, Steamed Shrimp Salad, wood-fired pizzas, and classic Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake. There is an open kitchen, where guests can sit back and watch the show.

"A memorable Christmas Day............3 people had to seat in a corner booth with round table therefore one person was never going to be sitting straight to eat! Had to ask for wine list, 2 bottles of wine they didn't have although the waiter forget to tell us until we asked where our wine was (oh and he forget to pour the wine?) Average food - we asked for hot french fries and the same french fries came out not 10 seconds later with a third of them missing. "Grilled" vegetables were swimming in oil and put in the microwave - I could go on but can't be bothered...................DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR...............don't go - There's a wonderful place across the road called LURE...............Now, that restaurant has service and style"
