"Oxford Exchange is a brilliant concept ... especially unique for Tampa and the Bay area. Every time I came (I make it a habit at least once or twice a month from Sarasota!) I find something wonderful to eat or drink on the menu. This week's discovery was the MachaLemonaide and roasted brussel sprouts along with a crisp, chopped salad. For a vegetarian, pure delight! Stop by the book store or the gorgeous gift store and pick up a gift for self and others on your way out! Only slight complaint -- the noise factor. It's super popular and the acoustics don't work well. But it's still brilliant."

The team from Tamarind, in the Flatiron District, have opened a new restaurant in Tribeca. Tamarind's team of dedicated chef's draw on India's varied regions to take diners on a culinary voyage of the subcontinent. The restaurant's menu includes dishes from Punjab, Hyderabad, Goa, Madras, Lucknow, and Calcutta. India's assertive spices and seasonings distinguish its cooking from all others.

"What happened to great food and service being front and center pillars of a truly "best Indian" status restaurant. Although very pretty and romantically-lit decor pervades, that is possibly the highlight of NYC Tamarind in my estimation based upon a rather expensive dinner this week. Surprisingly, the staff may mean well but somehow that did not translate to our particular waiter who was completely preoccupied, albeit completely disinterested in making our experience delicious and memorable. The food was good, not brilliant, and for what was served completely over-priced. Having eaten in London at several stellar comparatives, we are not "noobs" when it comes to great Indian fare. So enjoy ... if you dare?!"

Experience traditional Japanese dining in a beautiful, authentic Japanese restaurant located in the West Village of Manhattan. We offer the rich traditions of Japanese home cooking with Chef Abe Hiroki’s modern approach to Washoku, a relaxed style of dining centered around a procession of small plates. Like we do in Japan, we cook with the seasons, and savor the peak flavor of ingredients.

We adhere to the fundamentals of Japanese cooking: respecting the ingredients and their natural flavors, cooking in the moment, and not doing too much. We have created an extensive menu, featuring dishes as fresh tofu (prepared six times a night), Saikyo Miso Black Cod, stone grilled Washugyu steaks, an assortment of sashimi and sushi and a signature EN Kaiseki set menu, a sequence of eight extraordinary presentations. To compliment your dining experience, we have developed an extensive list of small-batch, artisanal sake and shochu to complement your dining experience.

"Our party of 5 was overwhelmed by the caliber of the food and the exquisite choices. I am a fan of EN and find myself returning for the flight of Shochu, house made (warm!) tofu, black cod, sashimi, and a light delight for dessert which is always a surprise. I highly recommend this restaurant for it's consistency, quality, unique and beautiful presentation."

The Crosby Bar& Terrace, inside the Crosby Street Hotel on a quiet cobblestone street in the heart of New York's vibrant SoHo neighbourhood, offers modern American food in a uniquely eclectic setting. Open daily for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, the Crosby Bar & Terrace also features an extensive cocktail and international wine menu, and classic English afternoon tea. Join us in the warmer months on the sunken outdoor terrace amongst lush wildflowers and a blossoming apple tree. Private event space is available for corporate and social gatherings.

"Delicious fare and beautiful garden and bar restaurant setting. Service was well-intentioned albeit a bit slow. LOVED the array of sides especially -- if you eat "tapas-style" try this and grab all of the veggies!"
