Sushi Chef Anthony Gambucci transforms delectable masterpieces at the Raw bar with fish flown in fresh every day. The restaurant boast Asian infused in an urban setting with a candlelight atmosphere. The large and inviting pergola bar welcomes you to sip on a hand-crafted cocktail.

"We had been excited to try Buddha and it was fine but nothing outstanding. Origami is better and not more expensive. The service was very good, the restaurant pleasant but in that neighborhood it just doesn't stand out."

Named "Best French Restaurant, populist vote" by Mpls St. Paul Magazine (<A HREF="http://www.barbette.com/menu"><b>CLICK HERE</b></A> to see our menus), Barbette has also received "best of's" from local press for its late night dining, desserts, wine list, date spot, music, and, of course, those French fries that accompany the steak frites. We use local and organic ingredients as often as possible, presenting beautiful food in a casual, eclectic, bistro atmosphere.

"We had been wanting to try this downtown spot to see the open rooftop. But they had a DJ playing pop music at an intolerable level. The waiter had to point to things on the menu, told us he had no power to turn down the music. And the music was not very good pop, in a wonderful music town like Minneapolis, this seemed unfortunate too. We won't return because I don't think you should have to wear earplugs at a meal and communicate with your partner via text."

Chez Daniel is a traditional French bistro offering authentic French food in an elegant but casual environment.
