"Kaluz was a wonderful find for us! The building is just spectacular and the vies was amazing. The food was very good- we decided to eat at the bar and the service there was outstanding. I had one of the best Manhattans I have had in Florida! We ate appetizers and there were plenty to choose from. My husband and I cannot wait to go back there!"

"Our experience here was excellent and the reason was our waiter. He was German and very entertaining. He was quite busy, but never too busy to get what we needed and he was excited about everything. The food was very well prepared- we had the special which was pineapple fried rice in a pineapple with lobster- excellent!!! I also had the lychee sakitini which was very tasty. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great food at a reasonable price."

"I took my sister and her husband there on a Sunday- we got there early so we couldn't sit outside, which I really wanted to do. Inside was cold and quiet, while outside was warm and exciting. The service was slow- I think because our waiter was also going outside and the kitchen was very slow. It took about 1 1/2 hours to get our dinner. Once we got it the food was good, but not great. Probably will go back to that area, but there are other restaurants to choose from."

Culinary visionary Barton G. has created a restaurant that adds a twist to dining out. By combining fine dining with fun dining, Barton G. The Restaurant makes each meal an experience, fulfilling the senses with enticing fragrances, delicious food and over-the-top presentations. Cuisine is neo-classic American – comfort food standards taken in an entirely new direction. The food is extravagantly whimsical with a sophisticated style and an unparalleled fusion of flavors. Located on West Avenue, away from the hustle and bustle of Ocean Drive, the restaurant features a sleek, trendy dining room rich with subtle details and a lush tropical garden ideal for alfresco dining. Requests for indoor and outdoor dining may be made, but table location is never guaranteed.

"My husband and I went there because we heard that the food and the entertainment were worth the effort. The food was very good but the service was way below standard. We were not sure who our waiter was the entire time we were there and we had to ask 3 times for a menu. There are too many choices of great restaurants to eat in to have to put up with this kind of treatment. It is a shame because we would go back for the food."

Grand Views... Rave Reviews. At the Thistle Lodge Beachfront Restaurant, delicious cuisine is served in a historical heirloom setting overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Swaying palms and gently breaking waves further set the scene for romance.

"I saw pictures of the Thistle Lodge before I booked our dinner there and the setting is just beautiful. The food was very well prepared and it was what I expected- an old time menu. It was classic Florida fare- the seafood was very fresh and the portions were large. They probably have certain standards that they must meet for the clientele that frequent the place so the menu was not too adventuresome. It was just good classic coastal food. We may go back again."

The talents of Executive Chef Robert McCormick and Master Sommelier Jonathan Pullis, who oversees a 15,000 bottle private wine cellar, combine to create a very special meal. "Element 47 is in a hotel in aspen. What a nice place! We got there early and had a drink at the bar and the cocktails were very inventive. The meal was nicely prepared and beautifully presented. I love molecular gastronomy and there was even "foam" on some of the dishes! Lovely!!!! The beet terrine was excellent. And we shared our entrees- the sea trout and cauliflower tortellini. Like i said- yummy!!!!"
