"My date and I ate at Co Co Sala on Friday night before heading over to E Street Cinema. The previous times I was here I stuck to the many chocolate-flavored drinks only, but this time we tried the cauliflower, bacon mac & cheese, and prawn grits. All were superb. The cauliflower appetizer was the best cauliflower has ever tasted to me -- they were cooked crispy and the sauce was somehow sweet, sour, and spicy all at the same time. Service was friendly and very fast."

Corduroy serves the best of the season with much of the restaurants produce coming from local farms. Corduroy is not handicapped accessible due to the historic nature of our building. No shorts are permitted.

"This is a great place to bring a first date that you really want to impress, because it's fancy and dressy enough without being over the top, and it's also blessedly quiet enough to have a conversation. Definitely don't show up in jeans though -- you will feel underdressed. My date and I dined at Corduroy on a Monday night and although all the tables were filled, they were spaced far apart enough that it wasn't noisy. The appetizer portions are miniscule, but the mains are almost respectably sized. The presentation of the food was great, and the fish mains (we tried the tuna and the sea bass) were delicious. The waitstaff was very attentive."
