Escape to Paris with authentic French food on the left bank of Cambridge Street on Beacon Hill. Intimate and cozy ambiance combines with friendly service. Classic dishes such as escargots, bouef bourguignon and lavander creme brulee are prepared to perfection and served with moderately priced wines by the glass or the caraffe, and the best French baguettes in town! Comfort food with a hint of sophistication in one of the most picturesque neighborhoods of the city. Bon Appetit!

"Lovely restaurant with excellent food, the perfect Kir Royale & outstanding service from Veselina! (Sadly impossible to retain the French charm of the place with the large corner-location windows revealing more unsavory street traffic than desirable; could sheer French curtains help discourage the homeless from knocking on the windows and waiving?)"

A farm to table American restaurant with a focus on seafood. Our menus change daily to reflect the best of what the markets have to offer and allows us to feature the work of many local artisans, growers and fishermen. A three course seafood tasting menu is always available. Jeremy and Lisa Sewall created Lineage Restaurant"s concept. We are a married couple with extensive culinary experience and deep New England roots. Located in the heart of Coolidge Corner, Brookline, Massachusetts, the name "Lineage" is based on Jeremy's own. In 1705, when this "Muddy River" hamlet of Boston became incorporated, Samuel Sewall, son of Judge Sewall of Salem Witch Trials fame, lent the community his services as the first Town Clerk and, it is thought, the name of his family's "Brooklin" lands, which lay between the Charles and Muddy Rivers.

"'Tis so very rare when the dining experience far outweighs the expectation. Dining at Lineage was especially memorable. A truly outstanding performance!! We were "over the moon"!!!"

Nestled in the heart of Harvard Square is one of the warmest, most inviting French restaurants in the Greater Boston area. The restaurant prides itself on serving classic French Cuisine with an Alsatian influence. Sandrine's is an unpretentious Bistro with a national reputation for excellence. Shortly after the restaurant opened, Esquire magazine named it "one of the 25 best restaurants in the U.S.".

"The entrance to the restaurant promises an experience that transports one to a streetside bistro outside a classic Metro stop in Paris with all of its Art Nouveau beauty and atmosphere. Except for the entrance and the street, however, there is very little "French" about Sandrine's except for some of the food. Not a French word to be uttered by nary a Frenchman to be met. Despite that disappointment the experience was enjoyable but perhaps not to be repeated. The Restaurant Week dinner price of $38.00 was most welcome."
