Reserve Wine & Food is proud to present Grand Rapids with our homage to Wine, Pork, Cheese and even more wine! Executive Chef Matt Green has developed a network of purveyors to supply Reserve Wine & Food with hand-selected, seasonal produce, pork, Michigan raised lamb, beef and fish to anchor a locally driven rustic yet refined menu of simple, eclectic fare. Our goal at Reserve Wine & Food is to source the best possible product as close to home as possible. Our Charcuterie bar will serve up local and international cheeses and meats along with Reserve Wine & Food exclusives, house made sausages, terrines, and pates. The extensive international wine list was developed by certified sommelier Peter Marantette. The list features 102 wines by the glass and a bottle list of nearly 300 selections. Artisan cocktails and a focused craft beer list round out a unique dining experience here at Reserve Wine & Food.

"As visitors to Grand Rapids, we have less than a week to try out various restaurants. We came here our first night in town and loved it so much we keep coming back. There are plenty of healthy vegetable and fish dishes which are excellent, but also a great salume & cheese selection. And a great wine list to go with it."

Our highly anticipated second Rosa Mexicano location opened in July 2000. Just steps away from Lincoln Center, this impressive David Rockwell-designed space features a 30-foot iridescent blue tile water wall that spans both levels of the restaurant and is adorned with 240 miniature cliff divers. Here you’ll also find a dramatic “floating” staircase made of orange and red terrazzo slabs and backlit panels behind the bar embedded with rose petals. Awarded “Best Restaurant 2000” by Interiors Magazine, this unique, contemporary look ushered in a new era for us at Rosa Mexicano.

"Consistently delicious food. On this occasion the softshell crabs, as well as the baby back ribs, were outstanding. But I am frustrated that no matter how early I arrive or how I plead with the wait staff, as happened the last three times I came, I waited for an hour with nothing to eat, and our dinner arrived after the music had started. But with such good food and music, we'll be back."

Nougatine is the more casual sister of Jean-Georges, with a very lively bar scene at night. The restaurant attracts a mix of celebrities, socialites, and movers and shakers in the business world. Adjacent to the formal Jean-Georges dining room, Nougatine serves the signature and seasonal dishes of Chef Jean-Georges for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, 365 days a year. The menu is more casual than that offered at Jean-Georges but still market driven, utilizing only the freshest and finest ingredients. In addition to providing gorgeous views of Central Park, the newly renovated dining room by Thomas Juul-Hansen features a bustling, immaculate open kitchen. Tones of brown and cream mingle to create an elegant space that is soothing by day and exciting by night. Nougatine offers a prix-fixe lunch menu Monday through Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Pre- and post-theater prix-fixe menus are available Sunday through Friday from 5:30 to 6 p.m., and from 10 to 11 p.m.

We source all our meats from Pino's Prime Meat, located right across the street from Da Marcella since 1903, including the organic free-range chicken in our menu. All our pastas are made with the best durum wheat using the classic bronze dies that leave the surface of the pasta rough and porous to perfectly absorb our slow cooking sauces. At the same time, most of our pastas are organic and very...soon all of them will be. We believe that great food should be affordably priced.<br /><br><br><br />We have a passion for good food and excellent service utilizing the best ingredients. Most importantly we have a love for food, service and quality.<br /><br><br><br />Our philosophy is simple: cook with real food to create unbelievable results. Authentic food, authentic service.
