At Lincoln Ristorante, we offer our interpretation of modern Italian cuisine in New York at Lincoln Center. Our philosophy is simple: to source the best local ingredients and prepare them with authentic Italian methods and spirit. While our location beside Lincoln Center’s reflecting pool is exquisite, with panoramic views and a grass lawn roof, the heart of our restaurant is the central open kitchen.

The menu offers our take on traditional preparations ranging from spaghetti al pomodoro to vitello tonnato and simply grilled branzino. Antipasti coax rustic ingredients into dishes with deep, savory flavors. Desserts are beautiful renditions of Italy’s classics: light, lush and irresistible.

While reservations are recommended to ensure a table, walk-ins are welcome at our bar where the full menu is served. We are open seven days a week offering lunch, pre-theater, dinner and weekend brunch.

"I dined here when the restaurant first opened and was disappointed. Since I am so often at Lincoln Center I decided to give it another try. I'm glad I did because everything was excellent. I'll be back."

"I was one person and only tried one thing, so that should be taken into consideration. My hummus tasted fine but the marinated vegetables on the menu turned out to be raw carrot sticks"

In 1984, Rosa Mexicano set a new standard for Mexican cuisine when it first opened on the upper east side of New York City. Playing a leading role in defining what was then a "new" cuisine to American diners, Rosa Mexicano delivers authentic Mexican cooking in an accessible, stylishly festive atmosphere. Rosa Mexicano's menu features a range of award-winning signature dishes, including our Guacamole en Molcajete, in a traditional lava rock mortar. Described by Time Out New York as "green ecstasy in a stone bowl," it is prepared table side and served with house made chips, warm corn tortillas and condiment salsas. Rosa Mexicano is also known for the Frozen Pomegranate Margarita, as well as the stylish and festive ambiance that includes an illuminated water wall.

"We have been dining at Rosa Mexicano since there was just one restaurant in New York City in 1984. I often dine at their second restaurant in New York City, but I did not realize that it had become a national chain. I was pleasantly surprised to discover here the same outstanding service and excellent food that I have always known at Rosa Mexicano. The two turkey specials for Thanksgiving were both very delicious."

"Our food was excellent, especially the salmon with lentils. In spite of its being in a big shopping mall, it is actually calm enough to have a conversation here, unlike like so many New York restaurants with good food. The wine selections are very good and reasonably priced."

JoJo offers relaxed yet elegant dining on two floors of a quaint, turn-of-the-century brownstone on the Upper East Side. The first of Jean-Georges’ restaurants in New York City, this neighborhood gem opened in 1991 to rave reviews. It was voted best new restaurant of the year by Esquire magazine and has retained its three-star status from the New York Times for 21 years. Regarding the name, JoJo was Chef Jean-Georges’ nickname as a young boy. Jojo is a hospitable setting for a casual dinner, special occasion, or private party. Guests can feel comfortable in jeans or in evening attire. The contemporary French menu still features some well-loved original dishes, including the Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake.

"We had not been here in a while and came for Saturday lunch. We had the butternut squash soup and the tuna tartare followed by the slow cooked salmon and the lemon risotto with Shrimp. For dessert the famous chocolate cake as well as apple cake, both accompanied by ice cream. Most of these dishes are old favorites which have been on the menu for many years, but continue to be vibrant and delicious when prepared with seasonal flourishes."

Chef Bill Telepan acclaimed former chef of the 3-star Judson Grill will serve the very best and freshest of seasonal foods impeccably prepared and paired with an interesting, hand-picked and reasonably priced selection of wines. Ruth Reichl described his cooking as “…extremely eloquent; each of [his] unassuming dishes roars with flavor, and the minute you finish one bite you instantly want another. His direct style draws diners into a vibrant interplay of textures, tastes and colors.” Located in the heart of the Upper West Side, Telepan welcomes fine dining enthusiasts from around the city, as well as the pre- and post-theater Lincoln Center crowd.

"We were four and came here spontaneously after a long walk in Central Park. The autumn vegetables and frisee salad with poached egg for appetizers were excellent, as were 4 different fish preparations we had as entrées. We ordered the rice pudding crème brûlée with dried fruit for dessert. Although it did not sound glamorous, it was fabulous. We appreciated the calm atmosphere, conducive to conversation, which is becoming harder to find in New York. The prix fixe was a good value."

"We just spent several weeks in Italy and we never experienced this painful volume of noise in any restaurant. Pizza is my favorite food and the 2 pizzas we tasted were excellent, but I could not enjoy them in this atmosphere. It was impossible to tell what the background music was, it just added to the volume. A table of eight men next to us all shouting at the top of their lungs did not help. I was glad to leave."

"This is a very flexible restaurant where you can have just a light snack or a full meal. Almost everything we ate was excellent. The figs and burrata were lovely as was the bib lettuce salad. My quiche was just okay and the salad accompanying it was way too salty. But the salmon with lentils that my husband ordered was truly outstanding. The wine list is small but has good choices at reasonable prices."

"We received excellent service from the sommelière whom we knew. Both of the wines we tasted were excellent. Everything we had was good. We especially liked the brussels sprouts salad and the beat and melon salad. Most outstanding was the desert we chose. The apple cake was moist and flavorful and the crème fraîche ice cream very elegant.
We did not appreciate the noise level. Perhaps to be heard over the music, the people at the tables on either side of us were often shouting.

"Boulud Sud has met the challenge of giving diners a perfect meal before going to Lincoln Center. I think the limited choices are an advantage, enabling the kitchen to keep things moving smoothly. Since I come to Lincoln Center often, I have dined here in the recent past and know exactly what dishes are best. The octopus appetizer is tender and has a delicious sauce and the chicken tagine entree is moist and tasty. My friend enjoyed her pumpkin ravioli app and scallops entree. The ice cream for desert was a perfect ending. They even held my leftovers for me until after the performance, so that other audience members did not have to smell my chicken."
