In the midst of 1000 acres of one of the world’s premiere horticulture centers, 1906 at Longwood Gardens offers a fine dining experience that is unparalleled. Enjoy lunch daily and dinner seasonally with a view of the Longwood Conservatory and the gardens of the former du Pont estate.

GARDEN ADMISSION IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE RESTAURANT.

NIGHTSCAPE ADMISSION TICKET REQUIRED FOR DINNER RESERVATIONS 7/1/15 - 10/31/15
"We have been dining here for over 20 years, and it just keeps improving. It seems to be even better since its name changed. It is more than just a convenient spot to eat while you are visiting Longwood Gardens. It is good enough to be a destination."

In this outpost of Racines Paris, Michelin Starred Chef Frederic Duca offers fresh and seasonal fine French cuisine. The wine list, put together by Arnaud Tronche, is composed of small growers, the majority of them certified organic or Biodynamic.

"Everything our party of four ordered was excellent. We especially liked the trout and octopus appetizers, and hangar steak and chicken main courses. Not only is the wine list excellent, but the owner-sommelier is willling to spend time to help you pick what is exactly right for your meal-mood. But unnecessary background music keeps the noise level at an annoying level."

Hearth is everything the word implies...a warm, comfortable restaurant with hospitality as its goal. Chef Marco Canora's cuisine employs seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients prepared with an Italian influence.

"We enjoyed a tasting menu at the Kitchen Bar. Everything was excellent. I especialliy enjoyed the pear salad, the sweetbreads, the polenta. The accompanying wines were interesting and delicious."

For over eighty-five years, New York's defining cultural moments have taken place at Russian Tea Room. Ever since members of the Russian Imperial Ballet founded the restaurant in 1927, it has been a second home for boldface names and the intellectual elite-an exclusive enclave where actors, writers, politicians, and businessmen planned their next deals and feted their friends' latest Carnegie Hall performances.

"Certainly convenient to Carnegie Hall. Everything our party of five ate was excellent. It was very quiet; not a problem sine we were able to converse."

Nougatine is the more casual sister of Jean-Georges, with a very lively bar scene at night. The restaurant attracts a mix of celebrities, socialites, and movers and shakers in the business world. Adjacent to the formal Jean-Georges dining room, Nougatine serves the signature and seasonal dishes of Chef Jean-Georges for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, 365 days a year. The menu is more casual than that offered at Jean-Georges but still market driven, utilizing only the freshest and finest ingredients. In addition to providing gorgeous views of Central Park, the newly renovated dining room by Thomas Juul-Hansen features a bustling, immaculate open kitchen. Tones of brown and cream mingle to create an elegant space that is soothing by day and exciting by night. Nougatine offers a prix-fixe lunch menu Monday through Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

"Our group of three people ordered three appetizers, three main courses and two desserts. EVERYTHING was delicious, as was our wine.
We were seated at a table big enough for only two people, so that every time we were served something, everything had to be rearranged on the table. The bases of our wineglasses were trapped beneath the edges of our plates which in turn hung over the edges of the table.
But thanks to the superb food, we had a wonderful time."

"We really enjoyed our lunch here. I thought it would be a good place for conversation and a light lunch and it was perfect. My nori rolls and my friend's Mexican concoction were so good we did not miss meat. And we concluded with beautifully prepared tea."

At Lincoln Ristorante, we offer our interpretation of modern Italian cuisine in New York at Lincoln Center. Our philosophy is simple: to source the best local ingredients and prepare them with authentic Italian methods and spirit. While our location beside Lincoln Center’s reflecting pool is exquisite, with panoramic views and a grass lawn roof, the heart of our restaurant is the central open kitchen.

The menu offers our take on traditional preparations ranging from spaghetti al pomodoro to vitello tonnato and simply grilled branzino. Antipasti coax rustic ingredients into dishes with deep, savory flavors. Desserts are beautiful renditions of Italy’s classics: light, lush and irresistible.

While reservations are recommended to ensure a table, walk-ins are welcome at our bar where the full menu is served. We are open seven days a week offering lunch, pre-theater, dinner and weekend brunch.

"I dined here when the restaurant first opened and was disappointed. Since I am so often at Lincoln Center I decided to give it another try. I'm glad I did because everything was excellent. I'll be back."

In 1984, Rosa Mexicano set a new standard for Mexican cuisine when it first opened on the upper east side of New York City. Playing a leading role in defining what was then a "new" cuisine to American diners, Rosa Mexicano delivers authentic Mexican cooking in an accessible, stylishly festive atmosphere. Rosa Mexicano's menu features a range of award-winning signature dishes, including our Guacamole en Molcajete, in a traditional lava rock mortar. Described by Time Out New York as "green ecstasy in a stone bowl," it is prepared table side and served with house made chips, warm corn tortillas and condiment salsas. Rosa Mexicano is also known for the Frozen Pomegranate Margarita, as well as the stylish and festive ambiance that includes an illuminated water wall.

"We have been dining at Rosa Mexicano since there was just one restaurant in New York City in 1984. I often dine at their second restaurant in New York City, but I did not realize that it had become a national chain. I was pleasantly surprised to discover here the same outstanding service and excellent food that I have always known at Rosa Mexicano. The two turkey specials for Thanksgiving were both very delicious."

"Our food was excellent, especially the salmon with lentils. In spite of its being in a big shopping mall, it is actually calm enough to have a conversation here, unlike like so many New York restaurants with good food. The wine selections are very good and reasonably priced."
