"Had a group of about 9 of us for an early afternoon brunch. They sat us at the chef's table, which was a very nice touch. It was also nice to have the general manager come by and greet us and give us free cornbread! I had the biscuits and gravy which were very good - and a nice size portion. Most of the table got the $18 bottomless drinks and the waiter did a good job keeping glasses full. Try the beermosa!"

"Came here early enough for brunch on sunday. Had the veggie frittata which was a nice, large portion. Added a waffle as a side for $4. The menu prices aren't the same as they are online. Both were good and my drink - the punch was very good. Only bad thing: out of cinnamon rolls by 12:45pm on a Sunday! Will be back."

"Wanted to sit on patio but it was full. Upstairs is nice if not a great atmosphere. Went for bottomless brunch and waitress could not have been better - she made sure our mimosas were refilled. Had chicken and waffles - nice big portion. Would come back again for other option."

"This was one of the better meals I've had in years. And it actually wasn't that expensive. Two people split the check and it was less than $75 per person. We were full from 4-5 of the selections - and we were two, big grown men! The green beans were huge and delicious as a leftover. We both loved the pork shank and it was a huge portion. The crumpets were buttery, moist and decadent with the pate. Good, unobtrusive service. Only, mild complaint was that the tables were close together. Other than that - it was a wonderful meal for our visit to Chicago."

Inspired to create a casual Italian restaurant in their own neighborhood, the culinary team behind Washington, DC’s award-winning Ristorante Tosca opened the doors to Posto, “a modern Italian place to meet,” in December 2008. It is located in a beautiful, century-old building (which at one time was a car dealership!) on the newly re-energized 14th St. NW – right next door to The Studio Theater, and just steps away from P St. and its hubbub of activity. As a proud new addition to the Logan Circle neighborhood, Posto serves classic and modern Italian dishes, and is the perfect place to drop in for a cocktail and a quick bite, or a multi-course meal shared with friends. A custom-built, wood-burning oven located in the back of the dining room entices guests with the smells of just-baked Neapolitan style pizzas and focaccia.

"Smoked salmon bruschetta was delicious. My veal ragu pasta was good though could be a slight softer. Have to thank the hostess and waiter for allowing us to sit outside though there was a threat of a storm. They didn't have to, but they did. Our waiter was attentive, quick with drinks and any requests. This is a reliable neighborhood restaurant for decently-priced italian. As a big guy who eats a lot, my pasta portion was the right amount."

"Came here for brunch on a sunny, sunday afternoon. Very thankful for the restaurant reserving a table outside when I requested one during my reservation. Not every restaurant does that and I'm grateful for it. Brunch was good, the fritters were amazing! Got the toastado which was fine. We had the bottomless mimosa option though the mimosa's didn't seem that strong. Was a leisurely brunch but we weren't rushed and the waitress was attentive. Only wish they had umbrellas as the sun was a little strong at time. The portions were a good size and all my dining companions enjoyed their food."

"Decided to come here for Dining Out for Life since they were one of the only restaurants in the area participating. Had the burger, salad, and cauliflower. The cauliflower side was huge and good (covered in cheese). The burger was very good and my friend loved his catfish sandwich. The complementary chips and dip is always a good way to start the meal. My old-fashioned was in a nice size glass and delicious."

"Came here for a birthday dinner with 4 friends. Had a great server (blonde hair and very knowledgeable). The bread basket was a great start; also got the butcher's board. They were quick to ask about allergies which was nice as two of my dinner companions had nut allergies. Made great recommendations for beer. Had the bratburger - delicious. Friends got duck and loved it. End the dinner with the cookies and confections dessert - just wanted I wanted for my birthday. Only quibble - too dark to read the menus. Lovely dinner, lovely service, lovely celebration."

"A great value - two menu items (main plus app or desset), plus unlimited mimosa or champagne for $30. Plus, there are a lot of other tempting a la carte options. Had smokefish pate and skillet eggs. Both substantial portions plus you receive a complimentary bread basket, with pretty good bread. Busy but not packed on a Sunday afternoon, took a while to get drinks though our waitress had a lot of tables. Seemed to be a slightly older, better dressed crowd than for your typical brunch. Could take your parents here!
Only dislike - the mimosas seemed pretty weak.
Definitely would recommend this as a good brunch option."
