Metro Lafayette has received a prestigious Michelin Guide Recommendation the past five years and is Zagat-rated. Merging urban sophistication with a relaxed suburban attitude, the restaurant is a stylish destination serving big city food. With the largest outdoor patio in the East Bay, it's the perfect place for al fresco dining. The menu features an eclectic mix of dishes, such as Gnocchi Parisienne with grilled eggplant, Bellwether ricotta & organic San Marzano tomato sauce; Dungeness Crab Cakes with grilled Brentwood corn, avocado puree, red radish & cilantro; Arancini with prosciutto, parmesan & smoky-piquillo aioli ; and Pan-Seared Wild Coho Salmon with creamed kale & confit of cherry tomatoes. With a raw bar, full bar, small plates, entrees and late night menu, Metro offers delicious, conscientious cuisine for all occasions.

"Food and service were very good, however the noise level was extremely unpleasant. We realize a restaurant cant control over exuberant patrons, but the room full of flat hard surfaces makes it much worse. Metro is a great place for outdoor dining, but the interior rooms are not pleasant."
