"From the moment we entered the restaurant, we felt welcomed. Tara, the owner, greeted us and we had a drink at the bar with Noel. Then dinner - appetizers of oysters and tuna carpaccio; sea bass and lobster ravioli and dessert of cheesecake and hazelnut cake which was recommended by on of the other guests. Our server was attentive and prompt. Lovely spot and we are going back on Christmas Eve!"

"We stayed in a hotel in Marlborough, MA. Fish was recommended by the desk at the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at the lovely decor - a good sized bar area and tables for two, booths and window tables for four. Most of the tables had flowers on them It was a modern decor with whites, and silver. We both ordered the white wine special of the month. I had the crusted tuna - cooked perfectly and my husband had the halibut which had a wonderful taste. We shared a dessert - yummy apple and raisin cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Our waitress was perfect! While everything was top class, people come in casual attire and can order burgers and fries, salads or sandwiches. It was a delightful evening!"

Artisans is an intimate, warm and cozy fire-lit restaurant that extends out to the Lodge’s wide covered porches in fine weather. The high windows and grand porches seem to seat the diner almost upon the lake. The dedicated culinary team offers a full menu based on farm to table cuisine. The cuisine is seasonally inspired and New American in tradition, but voyages wonderfully and mysteriously into the world beyond. The Lodge has an exceptional wine collection that ranges from the modest to the illustrious and a magnificent and romantic dine-in wine cellar for special occasions.

Artisans is open to the public, and seating is limited, so reservations are highly recommended. Dining room service begins each evening at 6pm. Children over the age of twelve are welcome at the Lake Placid Lodge.

"We spent a delightful evening at Artisan's. We had a "window" seat overlooking Lake Placid - watching the boats, the mountains, the clouds, etc. They have a four course $80 meal and it was delicious - good choices, well prepared and presented. There was a savory served before the meail; an amuse bouche and extra desserts. We had a nice glass of wine and wonderful service. We sat on the porch and there was a fire going and warm blankets on the chairs if needed. It was my husband's birthday and they brought our dessert with a candle which was nice. Elizabeth was the perfect server."

"Seasons 52 gives you the opportunity to dine on good food while staying on your diet plan! Calories are kept down and choices are varied. Our server was perky, friendly and efficient. We shared a flatbread with artichokes and goat cheese. Joe had trout and I had the summer vegetarian dish. We each had a glass of wine - there are many choices by the glass. You can try before you buy! One critique is that the lighting is poor - so the servers have to lend you flashlights to see the menu. Otherwise - it was a delightful evening!"

"Lunch was served watching views of boats, ducks, waves, and big skies. The food was delicious - fish tacos, salad, lobster roll. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. There was a problem with flies - not on the food, but on the windows. Also the price is too high, but it was a special celebration for us so we enjoyed it all."
