The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods – really fresh fish.

One of our first restaurants and still a popular lure, we are located on Route 9 in the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center. We are still keeping things fresh at our bar, our open dining room and in our take-out counter and Fish Market.

Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there’s no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker.

We’ve received a boatload of accolades including “#1 Best Seafood Restaurant” (USA Today, 2013), “Most Popular Boston Restaurant” (Zagat, 2012/2013), “Best Seafood Restaurant” (Improper Bostonian, 2010), “Best Chowder” (Boston Magazine, 2010) and the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.

Lumiere is a casually elegant, upscale neighborhood bistro featuring modern-French cuisine, an extensive wine list as well as a full bar. We also offer a semi-private dining room that can comfortably accommodate up to 30 guests.

The Stockyard is a classic American Tavern that has served delicious steaks, seafood, and drinks to the Greater Boston Area for over 40 years. We take great pride in the quality of our food with beef that is aged to ensure the best flavor and texture. Entrees are prepared with the freshest and finest ingredients locally sourced, including our signature Lobster Pie. Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, we provide both public and private dining along with a 150 car parking lot.

Now under new ownership, the Stockyard has been refreshed and upgraded with spectacular new additions while still maintaining the unique and classic look of the former Stockyard. Features such as our u-shaped bar, one of the largest restaurant bars in the city, and the infamous Al Capone bar located in our private dining room.y

Welcome to The Kirkland Tap & Trotter Our food is simple, hearty and approachable. It is how Chef Maws cooks at home for friends and family. At the center of the kitchen is our hardwood grill where you can find us cooking up any of our options to share as well as other grilled fare. Tony has designed an affordable menu, making it easy to eat here often. Keeping with the theme of The Kirkland Tap & Trotter being an every night of the week establishment, beverage choices will also be representative of things we like to drink. We invite you to drop by after work to try something from our expansive beer list, a straight forward and delicious cocktail or one of our many wines by the glass with our usual preference toward wines with a bit of funk. We’re open for dinner seven days a week.

Il Capriccio serves a constantly changing Northern Italian menu featuring local products with an award winning Italian wine and Grappa list. Though long considered a local secret, Il Capriccio has been the number one Northern Italian restaurant in Zagat's for the past seven years. The wine list has been featured in Decanter, Sante, Wine & Spirits and Stuff. The same menu is served in the Bar. We like to serve great food and great wine in a comfortable setting.

"Great meal. Sloppy, inattentive and at times downright rude service. We are at Il Capricio frequently and have never experienced anything quite like this. Will return but warily."

Betony, named after an herb in the mint family known for its healing qualities, is a Modern American restaurant overseen by Executive Chef Bryce Shuman (the former Executive Sous Chef of Eleven Madison Park) and General Manager Eamon Rockey (formerly of Eleven Madison Park, Atera, and Aska ). The restaurant, which is located a block off of Fifth Avenue, features soaring ceilings, contemporary photos of New York City street scenes, a 35-seat bar and lounge and 85-seat dining room.

"Fine but not worth the cost. Not exceptional enough to be paying over $60 for a pasta dish (even with mild summer truffles shaved on it). Some emtrees quite good (eg, smoked short ribs) others rather bland generally with sharp sour notes (beet lasagne) but all overpriced. Also odd to be asked to order the entire meal when you order cocktails. The chef recommends three courses preceding dessert. No one in our party ordered or was able to eat dessert. An interesting and surprisingly well priced wine list and a sommelier who knows it well."
