The newest Chef Geoff's restaurant is the go-to destination on the Pike. Located across from Montrose Crossing, Chef Geoff's Rockville is the perfect spot for a business lunch or family dinner in a friendly and energetic atmosphere. Only minutes from the Strathmore, we're the perfect location for pre-theater dining. A three course Sunset Special is offered daily from 4:30-6 pm for $19.95. Need a break from work? There is no better place than our newly renovated bar for all-day happy hour Monday and Tuesday. Or join us for our ever-growing Bacon Bar on Wednesday and Thursday where we truly believe bacon goes great with everything. Have a case of the Mondays? We have the solution with ½ price bottles of wine every Monday. We are excited to finally be a part of your neighborhood and hope that you will come join us soon. Cheers! Chef Geoff

"The server was very knowledgable and the food was excellent. Service was a little fast, though. Wine came after the salad, coffee came after the dessert. The room we were in (near the front windows) had little to look at (could use artwork) and nothing to listen to (the music was barely perceptible). So, go for some of the best food in Rockville, but don't expect a relaxing, slow-paced dinner. For this price, I'd like to savor the experience a little more."

Matchbox offers fresh American inspired food and drink in a modern and eco-friendly setting. Our menu includes brick oven pizza, miniburgers, fresh seafood, and a fantastic brunch. Guests can dine on our outdoor patio in nice weather. As the winner of best new restaurant, Matchbox takes brick oven pizzas to a new level.

"The restaurant was pretty quiet because we ate during the Super Bowl, but the service was still really slow. The server was pleasant but not very knowledgable; he was clearly pretty new. One dish wasn't served as ordered. Nonetheless, the food is great, the place is awesome looking, and we'll be back."
