"Every single thing about our visit to Bar Americain was perfect. When asking the waiter what was in a couple of dishes, he was able to rattle off every ingredient for me! My favorite salad is the Heartland Chopped Salad - the kale is tender, the added ingredients such as the walnuts and pomegranate seeds make this salad a standout. I tasted my friend's NY clam chowder, which has a touch of cream added, which turned the soup into something quite special. I had the ribeye and my friend has the hanger steak - both were prepared to a T! We shared the mushrooms and a side of spinach. I could not have asked for a better dinner."

"Once again, everyone in our party was delighted with everything about Marseille. We arrived a little early, and instead of having us wait at the bar, the maître d' asked us which table we'd prefer. That was a first! Three of us ordered the French Onion soup, which is the only one of its kind that I'll eat; its broth is rich in flavor and not salty (as many lower quality versions tend to be), and the onions are sweet. One person ordered the Fall Salad, but after tasting it, found it was not to their liking. No problem! The server took it back and replaced it with a crock of the French Onion Soup. For the entrees, which were also perfectly prepared, included salmon, hanger steak and lamb chops - all delicious.
We will return again!!!
