"Good, solid midtown lunch option with actual entree salads and a long list of good fish dishes for reasonable prices. Also a fantastic place for a business lunch."

Meauxbar is a casual upscale restaurant located in the French Quarter.

A popular choice for contemporary French & regional cuisine, featuring the freshest local and seasonal produce, seafood and meats.

A typical evening finds an eclectic mix of "quarterites", uptowners and other locals as well as out of town visitors in the cozy and stylish dining room.

"This restaurant wouldn't be out of place in the coolest parts of Brooklyn, and the food would withstand the harshest critics. It was so good we went back twice on our short visit to New Orleans. The fish amandine and the pork panee were particular highlights, but everything was memorable."
