Our server while very friendly was clueless as to service. Yes they can be trained to memorize menus, but not how to provide quality steakhouse service.
Managers stand around not engaging customers and dealing with kinks, but rather chatting among themselves. why?
OpenTable provided no tables for several hours, yet the place was far from fully occupied. That was strange, but perhaps not as strange as reception directing me to a garage several blocks away when there are garages next door, in addition to fairly easy street parking.
As is typical for a new restaurant, wait a month or two and trust they work the kinks out
In the meantime NY has no shortage of well run steakhouses with qualified personnel to keep you covered"
