Welcome to our beautifully restored Victorian with a contemporary twist. Neumanali opened six years ago and quickly became a neighborhood favorite. The menu features both fresh and seasonal entrees in addition to a selection of fun and unusual small plates. Perennial favorites are the pan-seared day boat scallops and "made to order" cioppino. The wine list is a bit eclectic and features smaller, more difficult to find winery selections. Lush garden dining is available in the summer and fall.

"I was pleasantly surprised to find such a gem in Hayward; the location in a renovated Victorian sets a sense of style and elegance not found in many locations. The food (we started with salads - I had the house mix and my friend had the Caesar salad; the entre' - I had chicken with tomatoes and Kalamata olives and mashed potatoes, while my friend had the filet with pasta) was well thought-out, with distinct flavors that melded well together, but were also somewhat unexpected. The quality of the food was very good - you could tell that care was taken in the preparation, plating and serving. We both had dessert - I had the triple layer chocolate cake with fresh raspberries and my friend had the ice cream sundae. Everything was DELICIOUS!!"

Nola is a bit of New Orleans located in the historic Ramona Street Building in downtown Palo Alto. Our menu consists of Creole, Cajun, and Latin cuisine. New Orleans favorites, such as hurricanes, fresh oysters, gumbo, seafood jambalaya, and étouffée, are just a few of the classics you will find.
The party stretches out over three floors, with seven different funky dining areas. Nola has one of the largest collections of Southern folk art on the West Coast. Come check out what Fortune magazine voted as "the hottest bar in the Silicon Valley." Welcome to the party--grab a Hurricane, a group of friends, wrap yourself in our mardi gras beads and “Laisser les Bon Temps Rouler!!”

"It was game seven of the World Series so the place was PACKED (had no idea when I made the reservation the game would be on)! The room where we were seated was crowded, to many people / tables in a small room; it was stuffy / too warm to be comfortable (we had to ask people to get up from their seats so we could actually get to our table!). Add to the room heat, the spicy food and it was hot, hot, HOT! (almost unbearable.) I ordered the small plate chicken and biscuits - chicken was over cooked / tough, biscuits board hard, the coleslaw was EXCELLENT, but the bacon jam and gravy something else. I have been here before and loved everything I have tried - this night Nola struck out. Only redemption was the shared beignet dessert."

"I have been to Creola's several times before, but not in the last two years - I am thrilled to return to the wonderful flavors, the delicious complementary textures and richness of sauces in the foods I ordered. I am a HUGE fan of the catfish and while I passed on dessert this time, my colleagues were ecstatic about the bread pudding and the beignets. I also love the service - which is always top notch! Such a local GEM!!"

"Took a group of ten visitors for a business dinner and elected to eat outside (we were unaware we would have to share benches, which was somewhat difficult). The menu offers an excellent variety of complex flavors, complementing each other while offering taste surprises. Every dish we had (with a group of ten we had A LOT!) was wonderful - attracting "ooohhhhssss" and "aaaaahhhhhssss". After an issue with a wine selection, which was definitely unsatisfactory - the GM brought a fabulous wine that pleased the group. Issue with service - poorly timed delivery of main courses (one of our group had to wait for five minutes for their plate), no secondary drink service offered after initial round - the only complaint was inattentive service."

"Took family here for a belated birthday celebration as the celebrant LOVES the Bloody Mary Bar. Salads, burgers, clam chowder were all great as usual! Server was extremely attentive and food was delivered in a FLASH!! The complementary birthday creme brulee with whipped cream and berries plus a candle finished off an extremely lovely lunch."

"Aubrey was our server and he embodies the positive and healthy nature of this establishment - he is to be commended for his care, attention and professionalism - a quality experience! The food from the lobster flat bread to the lamb chops I personally ordered (with Yukon gold potatoes and veggies) were perfectly prepared. Everyone at our table was thrilled with the taste, temperature and ingredients used to create complex and complementary flavors of each dish. We never complain about dessert - and again, were thrilled with the delicious variety - I had the peanut and chocolate, and shared the key lime (yes, I only needed ONE, but the desserts here are "da bomb!") We LOVE Seasons 52 whether here in NY or in our home state of CA!!!"

Kuleto's serves distinctive California ~ Italian cuisine featuring ingredients prepared in unusual combinations.
The atmosphere is a combination of old San Francisco aura, Italian conviviality and contemporary vitality with high vaulted ceilings, genuine Italian marble floors with dark wood and warm lighting.

"A business dinner here with a colleague from China - first timer in SF! Heard from another in our group he'd been eating here for 25 years (Kuleto's has been in business 28+ years). The food was good - great flavors, rich in texture and a wonderful melding of different types of food, BUT the service was dismal. We placed our order - we weren't rush after cocktail service to do that - walking in the door to cocktail delivery about 20 min. From cocktail to dinner order 25 min.... Dinner delivered in 25 min. From dinner to dessert - a different story altogether! 30 min. to get menus, 20 min. to place the order and 20 min. for ONE heirloom tomato / mint sorbet to be delivered! Unbelievable!!!!! (And, embarrassing for us with our guest...)"
