Fred's at Barneys New York is a modern day bistro. The brainchild of Fred Pressman, son of Barneys New York founder Barney Pressman, Fred's has something on the menu for everyone. We offer only the best ingredients and use local farm healthy foods. Whether it's lobster bisque, robiola with truffle oil pizza, fresh pastas, Baltimore crab cakes or the nationally famous Mark's Madison Avenue salad, our guest’s appetite for taste and luxury are always satisfied. Located on the ninth floor of our Madison Avenue store, Fred’s is open for lunch and dinner, and brunch on weekends.

"Decided to stop in for a bite as I was on the East side. Seated promptly, I ordered a chicken pail lard with a side of spinach.
Food was tasty though $10 for a side of spinach at lunch seemed a bit high. It IS at Barney's so perhaps I should have expected prices to be high end.
Most patrons seemed to be at least infrequent regulars.
A bit beyond my budget for lunch in a regular basis but I was well fed and served well in an attractive environment.

"They really try to create an intimate atmosphere of good jazz, good food and good drinks for real New Yorkers who want real jazz. Top flight entertainers so close you can see the sweat on their brow."

Michael Jordan's The Steak House N.Y.C. ranks among the finest steakhouses in Manhattan, offering a world class menu and an extensive, eclectic selection of wines and spirits. There are two private dining rooms and two semi private dining rooms available, with pre-fixe menus.

"Everything on the menu is superb. I checked off outdoor space because the interiors of Grabd Central are so grand that its almost like being outdoors! I love meeting people here even though I rarely travel through Grand Central. Everyone loves it. Great for dates, groups, a quick burger and even a family reunion as I did recently."
