"While looking for a more reasonably priced restaurant than many in Williamstown, we found Gramercy Bistro on OpenTable. It is part of an arts community in North Adams which can be hard to find and involves a drive through some rough parts of town, but worth the trip! The food was excellent, the server friendly and helpful and a nice wine list by glass or bottle. We would definitely recommend and will go there again."

Firebox Restaurant, located in the historic Billings Forge, one block from the State Capitol, serves seasonal contemporary American cuisine, in a casually elegant setting. Guests enjoy the white-washed brick, warm fireplace and handmade Amish farm tables of our back dining rooms. The impressive front bar area with it's exposed brick, wood beams and vaulted ceilings, houses a lively bar scene focusing on innovative cocktails and an impressive wine selection.

"This was our fourth visit to Firebox and things only seem to be improving. The service has always been great but the food has gone from great to excellent. The menu is small but with a wide variety of appetizers, salads and entrees and the kitchen uses local produce in creative and elegant ways. Portions are reasonable and prices are high but fair. The wine list also has many and some unusual choices. We will happily dine there again."
