Description: What does creative casual cuisine mean? Exactly what it says. We"re creative, because we reject the same-old-same-old in favor of tastes that are interesting and unique. We're casual because while our food may be worth getting dressed up for, we invite you to come as you are. We're all about cuisine in the sense that our chefs apply high standards of culinary art. There it is. Creative. Casual. Cuisine. If it sounds like your kind of place, then you – like us- are not your average Joe.

"While the staff were friendly and generally prompt with service, I found the food to be mediocre. On the cold side when should have been warm (and I was near to the kitchen). I might try it again as th menu looks as though the food should be good!"

"I do a lot of business travel and generally do my best to avoid hotel restaurants. However, knowing that The Study has a nice wine bar, I had been eager to try the Heirloom. We all enjoyed the evening and the food. The restaurant itself is designed similarly to the boutique hotel and the menu which seemed too straight forward had good choices for both the carnivores and the vegivores. Good wine as expected."

THALI is an innovative restaurant in New Haven whose chef, Prasad Chirnomula, is determined to change the way you think about Indian food. Dishes come from all over India. Rated excellent by The New York Times. The service is gracious and careful, with an eye toward educating the clientele. Eating at Thali is like taking a crash course in the diversity of Indian cuisines , and it is tremendous fun. As good as the food is here, the desserts stand out. Roomy and well lit, with comfortable, attractive chairs. Lounge has low tables for more intimate seating. THE SPACE Roomy and well lit, with comfortable, attractive chairs. Lounge has low tables for more intimate seating. Wheelchair access. THE CROWD Quiet, urban, a little dressy. THE BAR Full bar and well-priced wine list with great choice of Austrian, German and Alsatian whites that are excellent with spicy food; appealing selection of specialty cocktails.

"We have enjoyed Thali many times and will continue to do so. However, the food didn't seem quite up to their usual pizazz on this particular night."

"While looking for a more reasonably priced restaurant than many in Williamstown, we found Gramercy Bistro on OpenTable. It is part of an arts community in North Adams which can be hard to find and involves a drive through some rough parts of town, but worth the trip! The food was excellent, the server friendly and helpful and a nice wine list by glass or bottle. We would definitely recommend and will go there again."
